"Good day sir!" Shin greeted as he opened the door to the lab with Crocker following closeby. He would be lying if he said he was a little disappointed that Professor Rowan wasn't there but he wasn't one to look the gift horse in the mouth... or however that saying went. He listened intently to how the Pokedex worked, asking questions when he felt appropriate. Once it was all said and done, Shin tested it out on his Croagunk— and just like that, the Croagunk's information was discovered in the Pokedex, listing out its very first Pokemon. He turned back to the researcher, beaming, and nodded his head. "Will do! Thank you sir, have a nice day!" It was hard to temper down the excitement he was feeling. He was given such a big opportunity. If he completed this, he might get a pretty good reward! All... He scrolled down the Pokedex and the endless black silhouettes seemed more intimidating than ever. Crocker prodded his arm and Shin chuckled, looking down at his friend. "Good thing it's summer vacation huh?" He looked up to see Sean walking up from the beach. He grinned and gave the boy a wave. "This?" He asked as he brought the device up. "It's a Pokedex. Professor Rowan... or well his assistant... gave it to me just now. It's used to record Pokemon entries by capturing them and the professor and his group entrusted me with filling it up with as many Pokemon as I can." With a pause, his eyes drifted towards Sean's Wooper. "Here! Let me show you." Shin stood beside his friend and lined up the Pokedex's camera with the Wooper. Just like with Crocker, the Pokedex analyzed Woop and out came all of the information about the Pokemon. "See? Pretty cool, isn't it?" [@Spin The Wheel]
