You mentioned sending Silk out on 'missions' which makes me immediately think of a character like [url=https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Baron_Winters_(New_Earth)]Baron Winters[/url]. Though, check with [@Silverstein] to ensure he has no plans for Night Force in his Witch-Boy duties. 

On the other hand, a character like [url=https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Anthony_Druid_(Earth-616)]Doctor Druid[/url] seems like it might tie into the whole Spider Totem mystical aspect of Silk. 

Both are lower-tier characters that, while still relatively known, probably aren't likely to be in contestation anytime soon, and have enough history to appetize you.
