Now that's an obscure reference, right there! I had completely forgotten about the Silver Sable stuff that also used the Outlaw name.

In terms of how I got mine, it was hard coming up with a 5 man band that wouldn't step across too many other potential playables.

For the story I want to tell with Jason, Cloak and Dagger seemed a perfect match. I wanted it to be diverse, not solely rely on The Chick as the usual trope, which led me to Mar as an androgynous character (who doubles as the aquatic or elemental hero).

I wanted a speedster or another flyer, so I wound up going with the GL. And that in turned worked to drive the initial conflict that will bring the team together.
