Despite the Empire numerous attempt to invade their eastern neighbour, Zuiterra always managed to push them back. The Zuiterran are a desert people who consider themselves noble, resilient and proud - not without merit. The lands of Zuiterra consist of mostly of Deserts, but there are rich valleys built around rivers and oasis doting the land. They live as you would expect of a desert people, their population mostly living in the few towns and places where water can be found resulting in large town with dense population. They wear ample clothing made mostly silk from larvaes that they raise. Their clothes are designed to be colourful and light, but also able to protect them from the sun and the sand.
Nuniel Empire Native Race: Humans Military service amongst the Empire is an integral part of their culture. The Empire possess the strongest military might on the continent of Edanica, as well as the most territory for it's population. However, their constant expansions has long been kept in check by the Twin Kingdoms to the south, as well as the lands of Zuiterra to the East. Since a while now, the Empire has developed new weapons thanks to a newly found source of energy. They called it Magi-Technologi. With it, they created new inventions of all sorts ranging from everyday things to upgrade quality of life to flying ships. The disparity between rich and poor and extremely apparent, and the Nuniel inhabitants are very distrustful of other races and their way of life. The rich and the nobles despite the small people and other races, so while you may see none humans in the slums or on the farms, you will never see any of them in higher positions.
Holy Empire of Brudel Native Races: Aasimars, Humans Known also under the name of 'Summits of Kings', Brudel is a kingdom built on the back of a mountain range and difficult of access - but very respected. It's monarchy is absolute Enatic, where only women can inherit the throne. There is a saying that says; Not all Pegasus Knights come from Brudel - but every Pegasi does.. The mountains are the reproduction area for Pegasi and Brudel is known in big part for it's order of Pegasi Knights. Brudel social order is peculiar in that every nobles or members of any respected families are Aasimars. They are seen as 'pure blood' where Humans are seen as dilated blood, and thus cannot achieve the highest status in society. The Royalty are considered poor blooded and Holy, descended from Agamemnon’s supposed Son, Sigvald the Holy. Their culture gravitate around their religion to Agamemnon through their Empress, which they consider his envoy on earth.
Dricia Native Races: Centaurs Beyond the Summits of Kings of Brudel come the massive plains of Dricia. Almost entirely consisting of steppes, hills and rivers. Except for it's capital, the Dricians are exclusively nomadic. Every riders on land that knows anything about anything wish they can get their hands on a Drician horse, since they are the best horses around. The leaders of Dricians are Centaurs, although very few in numbers. The rest of the population are mostly Half-Elves, which are cast out of Mica and Yeryn as well as Humans. The horse people of Dricia are not above raiding neighboring villages for loot and slaves, but most often fight amongst themselves. They also hunt and forage for food, but would never be seen doing agriculture which they see as a dishonorable vocation.
Mica & Yeryn Native Races: Wood Elves and High Elves Mica and Yeryn were, long ago, one whole nation. After a long and bloody civil war, Mica declared it's independence. Where Mica is a mystical and mysterious land shrouded in secrets and protected by deep jungles and vast fog, Yeryn is home to hard working people who are considered as the best artisans of the known world. The peace between the two elven kingdoms is fragile, but hold. The Wood Elves of Mica are experts at magic, especially regarding nature. They live in homes built high around the massive trees of the Eastern Jungles. They distrust strangers, and protect their home with a vast magical fog that keep anyone from entering their domain uninvited. The High Elves of Yeryn retain their old way of life. They also live in the jungle, in towns and cities built also around the trees but on ground. Their buildings are more apparent with unique architectural designs easily recognizable. They are ruled by a Dynasty of Kings going back thousands of years.
Malia Native Race: Dragonborns Far to the north of Malia lies the lands of the Malian, strong northern Dragonborn folks. They mostly stay to themselves, warring between cities and trading with other kingdoms. Very little non Dragonborn choose to live in Malia since the climate is so unhospitable. The Malian live mostly off of fishing and hunting, since nothing can really grow there - which fits a Dragonborn diet just fine. Since work is rare except for trading and hunting, most Malian turns to mercenary work. They offer their arms to whoever pays them to raid rival clans, creating an unstoppable cycle of conflicts between the Malian settlements. Du to this, Malian mercenaries companies are highly sought after and it's people are extremely skilled fighters. Lately however, not much trade or travellers came from the north.

Pantheon
Everyone worship the Pantheon. Throughout Edanica, the Pantheon is widely known and worshipped as a whole as is inspired by greek or roman mythology. Fishermen might give more praise to Midemis, especially before going out to sea. Brudel knights might give more praise to Agamemnon - but all in all, the Pantheon is the dominant faith on Edanica. Their domains are left vague on purpose. People on Edanica tries to tie everything to the gods domains. For example; Undeads. Death is most often linked to Ytia, as she represents all things Inevitable, so Undeads would probably be linked with her also, although possibly twisted by some darker design. My Pantheon is a bit more flexible than your regular DND cast of Gods, and is done on purpose. Not every Necromancer serves the evil god of Death, but most if not all at least give some sort of praise to Magylos who rules over Magic.

Major Deities
Agamemnon - Neutral God of Kings and Empires, rules the Pantheon. Anhur - Chaotic / Evil God of War, combats and Violence.

Playable Races

Humans: Your usual, all-around Humans. By far the most populous species on Edanica, found in most Kingdoms over the land, although their social status may vary vastly from one to the other. Humans usually find a way to 'make it work'. They are seen by other races, especially those that live longer, as being incredibly stubborn and achieving what they want. Elves: The term 'Elve' is used to encompass multiple different ethnic groups of Elves. Generally speaking, Elves live far longer than humans; some have reached 1.000 years old, it is said, but most likely 800 years old is seen as venerable. They are resourceful and patient, most likely due to their longevity. Elves are divided into three main groups on Edanical; High Elves, Wood Elves and Sand Elves. Elves are taller than humans and generally have slimmer figures. High elves live mainly in Yeryn, in ancient cities ruled by their Emperor. They are reclusive, engaging little in trade and mostly staying to themselves. They are known, however, for their excellent craftmanship which alone is enough to make it so some merchants then and again attempts to communicate with them and trade to gain some of their valuable crafts, to varying degrees of success. Wood Elves hail from Mica and once were one people with High Elves. Being badly treated however long, long ago they waged a civil war and separated from their cousins. They claimed parts of the jungles for themselves, where they liver in near total hiding. They are extremely well versed in magic and are very mysterious. Very few Wood Elves leave their forests, if any. Sand Elves are the most different from their cousins far to the West. They live in the Desert of Zuiterra. Sand Elves have tanned skin and clothes themselves in bright coloured clothing. To the opposite of other Elves, Zuiterrans loves to trade and are known for it, but they are also known for being fierce fighters that does not hesitate to defend their lands. Aasimar: Aasimars have divine heritage. Long ago, in ancient times long forgotten, their species had direct link with the gods that long since broke. Their heritage still show through their flawless white skin and sometimes glowing eyes. They hail from the Holy Empire of Brudel, where their kin rule and sees other races as impure and unfit to the mortal races. They believe that their Empress is of direct descent from Agamemnon and their whole spiritual belief revolves around this. While they see other races as lesser, they are not necessarily evil or belligerent - they are content with applying their beliefs to their own lands without conquering others, but will fiercely defend their home. Dragonborn : Dragonborn gets their name from, obviously, resembling a Dragon but in bipedal form. They typically stand almost 6½ feet tall and are strongly built, weighing over 300 pounds, but unlike dragons do not generally possess wings and their abilities to breathe fire - or other elements - is diminished. Dragonborn hails from Malia, the frigid northern most kingdom. The color of a dragonborn's scales can vary, but is dominantly blue in colour. Other colors are not frowned upon,. just more rare. Like Humans, their personalities varies widely but most Dragonborn make for fierce warriors. GM Notes and Others: These are the predominant races on Edanica's continent, but there are thousands of other Monstrous races and other races out in the world, or other variants. Some are in Edanica, just not listed here. Some are found elsewhere, as there exist at least one other continent unseen and unknown on any Edanican maps. Some hails from other planes, some from deep in the ocean. There are also Half-Elves, Half-Humans of many kind, Dwarves, Gnomes and Orcs in Edanica, just not dominant. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you want to play another race, ask me. Almost any playable races from DnD will be accepted - and for the rest, it depends on your idea, explanation and reasons.
