I'd say...magical objects or magic used in everyday would be somewhat seen regularly depending on where you live, and in what kingdom. Certainly, in Mica, it would be very common. In the Empire, it would be less common as Techno-magi grows. In other kingdoms, in the capitals, people would be used to seeing it here and there. Outside of large centers, less so. 

Gifted magic users would certainly not shy away from making their lives easier with magic.
