Basically he’s Peter Quill, but instead of his father being the King of Spartax or Ego the living planet, his father is Darkhawk, a member of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. As a young teenager Peter was abducted from Earth by the Starjammers, pirates looking for his father. Peter ends up inheriting the Darkhawk amulet, allowing him to become the Darkhawk.
