Of those to awaken, Hope is the first of them. Her skin littered with scars and tattoos of experience, she sighs as she sits up, leaning on the headboard. From her bag on the ground, she could see fliers of a monk school - something her father wanted her to do, but she was more concerned about the rampage of Hyjin and bandits. If anything, she could assume that the more corrupt Hyjinians hired the bandits, but she couldn't care less. As long as she could find a home with her father up North, as long as she was safe, as long as her mother had fled safely, as long as she lived. It had been years since her parents separated and Hope's father was not involved in her life growing up. As she became an adult, her father sent her a letter concerning a monk-like martial arts school that he thought she would do well in. That was just before the Hyjinians arrived. Now, from hitchhiking and throwing a few punches for her life, the bruised woman was alive, and the smell and sounds of sizzling bacon awakened a grumble from her midsection. Looking around the room at the other survivors, the rather short woman grumbles before barking. "Breakfast." She nods to them.
