She'd seen some reports of Warped like this, but she'd never encountered one herself. Her techniques wouldn't work on something like this, but she'd have to try.

But when the target was composed of millions of tiny slugs, all they did was pass through the writing mass of flesh before embedding and detonating in the wall behind it. The Warped's limbs retracted into its body before massive tentacles shot towards Norika and Xuan-Yu.

Norika leaped backwards. "Any more bright ideas?" she asked sarcastically.
