He was definitely done exploring for now, so he got cozy and leaned against the tree's trunk with a lemonade in hand. As far as spectators went, he was one of the louder ones. He'd been amused with Cerberus' mixture of cheers and jeers, and joined in with their enthusiastic callouts - in support of Sakura, of course. The day was wearing on, by then it was already late in the afternoon. Evening would be quickly approaching, which seemed to be the queue for the missing Seekers to start reconvening on the beach. Princess Peach and Hat Kid found their way to the estate, and Blazermate returned with two strangers tagging along beside her. To the newcomers the Cadet waved his hand, accompanied by a jovial "Hey there!" They'd come to the beach at a good time if they wanted a show, as beside the main attraction of the beach battle was the light show of spirit fusion. He hadn't been paying much attention to what Kamek was explaining until she actually demonstrated. Something to force the fusion into a specific body part? That was pretty handy! Although the Cadet had to agree with Geralt, in principal at least. Fusing had only been for necessity for him. In fact with the princess here and pulling spirits from people anyway, he wondered if he should have Jamaica removed. The Cadet glanced down at his chest, but all he saw was his own skin - slightly darker after the fusion, tinted red from the sun. He'd briefly checked his appearance that morning in the inn, and he didn't particularly dislike the changes. The rigging and water walk ability had been extremely useful as well. ...was it disrespectful to be thinking like that? She'd been her own person, not just a power-up, though the Cadet hadn't known her. But it wasn't like she could come back either. It would probably be best to keep her spirit, especially if it would help get used to the process. He didn't really want to be fusing with anything, but if things kept getting more and more difficult for them then he might not have much of a choice. The Ace Cadet looked back toward the brawl, and then out over the ocean where a huge vessel was taking up most of the scenery as it passed. His armor was still sitting in the sand, facing the vast blue as well. I should probably gather it up, he thought. Though he wasn't looking forward to donning it again while it (and he) was covered in sand. Maybe he could ask Bowser to wash it down with those water cannons on his back once they got back to Limsa proper? There was another person heading towards them on the beach, and once close enough they were easily recognizable as Nadia. The Cadet beamed and waved at her as she approached. She brought with her a bunch of money and a suggestion for dining. After Peach's question, the Cadet nodded towards Cerberus. "What they said." Nadia came over and laid a hand on his shoulder. He barely suppressed a yelp when she squeezed it, the slight stinging pain sunburns already starting. "Yeah, that's what happens when you hang out with Carapaceons. I think they were trying to turn me into one of them," he laughed. Speaking of, he looked over at Blazermate where she chatted with her new friend, hoping to grab her attention. "Hey, Blazermate? Would you mind using your healing beam on me?" Hopefully it would just zap him right back to normal. "Oh! Right - I also got some loot. Here, take a look," he said as he turned his attention back to Nadia. He beckoned her to follow the short distance over to where the conspicuous chest sat by the shell radio. He popped it open and pulled the lid back, displaying the pearls and trinkets inside. "Ja-jaaan! Pretty Radalos, right? Anything strike your fancy, Ms. Fortune? Help yourself!" Its contents were of course available to the rest of the Seekers as well, for what few items there were. The Cadet himself was mainly interested in pawning the pearls so he had some spending money. He fished the blue shell necklace out and offered it to the feral, pausing only when he took note of her change of clothes. "Maybe it's too much blue, but here. "So, where-" He'd wanted to ask about her own exploration and what she'd been up to, especially to bring back what she did. Not just her, but Kamek, Rika, and Link too - clearly they'd gotten up to something. But it might have had to wait to be discussed over dinner, as there was a crack and a cheer coming from the battle between to the two street fighters. A decisive victory for Sakura it seemed, and a newly freed Karin. Though the look in the later's eyes dissuaded the hunter from looking at the girls' embrace for too long. Instead he looked back to Nadia and Princess Peach and raised his eyebrows. Seems they'd be departing for dinner soon after some explanations. Hopefully the restaurant could fit them all. Maybe they had a patio. [sup][@Archmage MC][/sup]
