Very interesting reading! Seeing as your character has such expertise with fungi, some of those 'evil' corporations mentioned in my "Enemy" section would likely be interested in acquiring your character for several reasons. This gives me some interesting things to do in the story, for sure. 

Okay, then, comments:
This is a fictional world, which I still don't mention in a clear way. So, the People’s Republic of Korea has to be renamed to something of your choosing. After that, look at the 'world map' in the IC-tab and decide where this country is, and I'll add it. All the details mentioned so far about the country can stay as it is.

The comet did not actually hit the world itself, but took an orbit around it. But, debris from it bombard the world every day, so what happened to your character still holds up. Just rephrase the sentence to fit the lore.

Keep the timeline in mind. The comet arrived ten years ago, when your character was 18.
