Welcome to the thread! Have a look around, make yourself a coffee, and enjoy your stay! HeyHey! I'm Arya, a 24-year-old RPer who's been going at it since she was 15! I am fairly new to RPG, but not to Roleplaying in general! For a bit about my posting frequency, I can promise you at least one post per day, but perhaps more if work isn't destroying me! Work? Yeah, I work in engineering so I get busy in random bursts. Who do I RP with? Just about anybody who's willing, and able to be around my skill level in writing, along with being old enough for the more mature themes I'd like to write. My preferences in Roleplay are pretty hard to narrow down, but a big preference for me is on character development and telling a story. That being said, you will always see romance, combat, adult themes (Darker themes, smut, etc.) showing themselves in one of my games! That being said, I love to hear out what you want to play, as I love ensuring both of us are having a great time with the RP. Let's be friends while we write this thing, shall we?

Roleplayer Info
> I'm flexible. I love coming up with ideas, hearing others' ideas, and incorporating that in our story! Let's talk about things, figure out what we're going to include, and build that lovely story. I keep an open mind for whatever might partner might want to include! > I'm a pretty easygoing girl, so long as you're friendly and not a total jerk we should get along! Gender, orientation, things like that won't bother me! However, antagonizing or the likes about these subjects? There will be an issue. As a note, that means I would prefer to avoid RPing with a person like that, however, your character can be a bad person if that's what we decide to go after. > I like to think I'm a pretty decent writer. Typically range from high-casual to low-advanced level in writing. I always write in the third person and simply ask that you can write at a similar level, as well as writing in the third person. > I create some pretty decent and in-depth characters and am pretty good at world development. So we should be able to work out something fun and interesting to play through together. > I'm an MxF or FxF RPer, with me usually occupying the female roles. I'm more than happy to write a male as NPCs/Supporting Characters as needed. Lately, I've been dying for something MxF, but I'll be happy to do another FxF RP! Just my preference~ > I tend to like stories where both of our characters will be the protagonists. We will be the focus of the story, and the brave heroes facing down the evils of the world. > I will make some writing mistakes; comma placement, grammar, but these are not common. As I touched on earlier, I would say my roleplaying skills are rather decent. So, I'm completely fine if you make some mistakes as well. We're only human, after all. My writing average is around 3-5 paragraphs per post, but I have slapped out a couple of 10+ paragraph mega posts.
Roleplay Requirements:
> As I've mentioned before, I want you to be around my level in writing skills. What does that mean? 3-5 paragraph average per post, high casual to low advanced level of writing. Minor writing mistakes? Not worried about those, as I previously mentioned! Additionally, I ask for at least a post every three days or so. If you're suddenly busy with irl, just give me a heads up and we're good! > Be at least 18 years of age, it's a personal comfort thing for me! > Be friendly!
Roleplay Setting:
Now, as the title says I've got two fantasy plots I'm currently craving and two fandom slots that I am also in the mood to see run! So I'll be going through a bit of a summary for each idea, let me know what grabs your fancy/inspires you! So with that being said, we'll start with the fantasy settings.

There is a Great Storm on the horizon. One of war, violence, and ceaseless bloodshed. An Island nation many once thought to be insignificant has launched itself onto a violent warpath. Conquering all in its path, devastating all that would dare to stand in their way. The forces of Arashi are skilled, yes, but not enough to overpower the very civilizations they now overrun. No, their advantage is the Shogun. A woman capable of wielding the very forces of nature itself into a weapon, harnessing the might of the Storm to aid her forces in battle. A Goddess, many have claimed. With their spear pointed at the rest of the world, all seems hopeless. All seems lost. Yet when an unlikely hero (Your Character) encounters an escaped slave, embers lingering upon her skin yet refusing to burn her, perhaps fate has changed to be in the world's favor. Perhaps this strange girl could wield the forces of nature akin to the Shogun, perhaps she could be the tool in the coming war. A weapon. If only she might learn control, then... There might be the strength to face the Storm. OOC: The idea here is that the world itself has a variety of fantasy creatures/races, but wielding magic is practically unheard of. So the Shogun and others who can wield magic that would start to pop up during the rp are viewed as super-weapons almost. Our characters would be joining together, for one reason or another, and get sucked along on their own big adventure during the war. One which would involve; teaching my character control of her abilities, finding out the secret that drives the magic abilities, and maybe even unlocking some magics for your character! If you want them, obviously.

Your character is on a ship that goes under during a harsh storm while sailing the high seas, a storm so violent that some of those on board the ship swore it was a beast instead of a storm. Not that what attacked the ship would really matter, as the mighty vessel soon capsized and sunk deep beneath the waves. Standing in the middle of the ocean, without another in sight, it seemed your character's end was to slip beneath the waves. Forgotten, and taken by the mighty sea. Yet, after what seemed like moments after the world faded to black, your character awakens. They're in a small, yet ornate room. Its white walls are decorated with various sea shells, little coral plants sit in plants on small shelves. Not to mention the feeling of... floating, and a strange feeling like they're submerged. Then it hits, they are submerged. Somehow, impossibly, this room they found themselves peacefully awakening within was deep under the waves, and they were alive. Impossible, yet somehow it was reality. Just as they were about to try to move, a voice cuts in from the entryway to the room. "Don't. You need more rest to heal, please lie back down..." Its speaker? A beautiful woman, floating in the water with ease and grace betraying that she was used to such a situation. Her voice was elegant and soothing, yet with just enough force in it for somebody who wouldn't be taking no as an answer. "You must have plenty of questions. Please, lay down and I'll try to answer them all." OOC: The general idea here is that your character goes down with their ship while out on the ocean, and is rescued by a beautiful young woman. Said woman, my character, will be revealed to be a demi-goddess. Daughter of Poseidon, and Princess of Atlantis. Your character's presence there will cause a stir, as contact with the mortal realm is strictly forbidden, and one thing leads into the other until our characters are set out on their own Odyssey. A grand adventure through the mythological and mortal realms, each needing the other to survive, and finding love in each other.

Humanity has finally left their amongst the stars, exploding out into the Sol System in a ravenous wave of expansion. Humans have colonized all parts of Sol, living amongst massive space stations or sprawling cities on the surfaces of various bodies. Everyday it would seem that new advances are achieved in leaps and bounds as society seems to be developing at a rate previously thought to be impossible. All this progress, of course, stemming from a single source. The Relic. An impossibly advanced supercomputer created by the most brilliant minds humanity had to offer. A computer capable of providing solutions to problems Humans had long been fighting against. Most ailments such as cancer were wiped out within minutes of the Relic's activation, new techniques to protect Humans against the harsh realities of living beyond Earth's protective shell were developed, and ways to travel around the solar system within matters of hours. The Golden Age of Humanity had truly begun. Yet even such ages come with great turmoil. There are elements around the system who chaff against a united Humanity. Wanting to separate from Earth's governance for a myriad of reasons. Elements who have various levels of arms, capability, and morals. Only now are they starting to move, with whispers of something far worse upon the horizon. Yet there are even louder whispers. Whispers that perhaps the Relic has created something... more. Another impossible leap ahead for Humanity, or something that could be used to destroy it entirely. A secret that Earth wants to remain hidden for now, and one that those deviant elements desperately want to control. (Your Character) is working on a massive cargo ship destined for Earth from Hermes Station out by Pluto. A journey that takes around a day and a half to make. The cargo on-board ranges from common food shipments to heavily locked down items for Earth's government. Yet... somehow this trip feels different. Your ship, The Wayfarer seems to behave strangely as she flies. Random systems experiencing glitches, and occasional beeping over the intercoms that nearly sound like a code. Not to mention the crew of tight-lipped scientists from Hermes who inexplicably keep dashing off the Gov's classified cargo. Something is on board the Wayfarer, something that will change everything. OOC: This story sees Humanity during our first steps out into the stars. We have fully colonized the solar system, and are rapidly expanding our technological capabilities. Of course, that also means that we are dealing with the effects of Human society being spread over such distance; different ideologies developing. Humanity is sitting on a powder keg at the moment, waiting to be set off by a single spark. A spark that takes the form of the Relic's new development... which also happens to be the classified cargo onboard the Wayfarer. Your character works onboard the ship. The details of their employment are up to you. Be it as a veteran, new hire. Pilot, security guard, or maintance worker. My only request is that they be in their early to mid twenties. (Thats just the age range I am most comfortable with.) No matter the circumstances of their life until now, your character is about to be abruptly thrust into the middle of the brewing conflict as the Wayfarer suddenly breaks down around Uranus, and the cargo finally reveals herself. The first true Artifical Intelligence. Alot of the rp will focus around the journey our characters must embark on together. On my character (the AI) learning what it means to be human. On the brewing conflict in our system, and the many people trying to bring her under their control. It will also be an rp focusing on the relationship between our two characters. The Human, and the Machine. (Yes it is a romance plot.)

Fandoms:

Star Wars AU (Order 66/Early Empire Era. My character being a hunted Jedi, we can plot more in DMs. New Jedi Order/Yuuzhan Vong Invasion PREFERRED RN)
Naruto AU (Focused on Konohagakure. My character being an Uchiha. We can plot more in DMs.)
My Hero Academia AU
Sword Art Online AU/Adjacent (I like the concept, but we can change as much as we want. Provided we stick to the whole stuck in a game thing).
Cyberpunk (Edgerunners, 2077, or even our own setting)
FFXIV AU
Percy Jackson and The Olympians (PJO) AU

CURRENTLY HAVE A STRONG PREFERENCE FOR A PJO, NARUTO, OR STAR WARS RP
(However I am open to any of the listed ideas above just dm me love you) If you are interested, please shoot me a PM, and let's work out the details!
