I was going to explain it in a bit more detail once we get to it, but it's fairly uncomplicated for players. Combat situations will always be one or two 'big bad' guys along with cannon fodder enemies, like a swarm of rats around a big rat. You can go wild with the cannon fodder—do as much godmodding and crazy shit as you want. The big bad, however, will be a team effort. You can still do whatever you want to it, but you can't 'kill' it before I indicate that it has been killed by whoever attacked it last. And that's it. There are also some 'game elements' that you can indulge yourself with in the Codex, but it's totally optional.
