I'm loving the actual showing from everyone, so far. Everyone's introspection has been very well-crafted, from understandably apprehensive to simply confused. Everyone's boiled themselves down to try and grasp at what it means to be Human, inside and outside, when you are already a Monster, and how to gain purpose from that. Mae's inherent wish to be a caretaker, beloved and respected, but not feared; to be as warm and inviting as a rolling kitchen, and as loved as a hot meal at the dinner table. Levia's intrinsic need to strive her own path, be recognized as one that was strong, yet there's a sense of vulnerability in the hate that shrouds her; a lost child, longing for belonging and home. Gamma's built-in drive to ascend, to claw and climb her way from the bottom of her infancy to the apex of her elderhood; the motivation to see herself become God as Humans do, evolving her purpose down a new path. Tungsten's deconstruction and reconstruction of "purpose" and "meaning" and how it all relates to "character" when to preexisting values are stripped of their current meaning, and you're told to redefine then; to ask yourself, "Who am I," and "What am I," to find buried meaning. All that's left is Cormac's old man musing on the matter, and I'm very, very excited to start the next post. [@The Irish Tree] [@Guess Who] [@Lugubrious] [@Stern Algorithm] [@Lucius Cypher]
