"And I see that you were in a fight yourself," she continued, eyeing his clothes. "You should take a rest."

"New members?" She raised her eyebrows. "I suppose we could use reinforcements... though I wonder why they arrived here so late."

It didn't take long for Lunatea to find the napping spot she desired. A great and thick tree that provided ample shade as well as gentle wind that blew to provide cooling to her skin. And the best part was that it was far enough from the refugees that she wouldn't be disturbed by their noises.

Still, on her way there, she couldn't help but to overhear on a certain conversation a pair of villagers were having.

Arriving at the tree, she sat down, resting her back on the thick trunk, before closing her eyes.

When she opened them back, it was already nighttime.

And Takeshi was standing in front of her, with a warm rice bowl in his hand.

"Oh. Hello. And good night, I suppose."

She readily took the rice bowl off his hand.

"Yes, that is unfortunate," she replied matter-of-factly. "They simply fear what they don't understand."

She took a bite off the rice. With her hand. She didn't know how to use chopsticks.

"Thank you. For the meal. It's delicious."
