Clothing Preferences: Simple clothes. They let her blend in among the people. She can get away for a quiet drink occasionally, like that.

Psychology
Likes: Peace and prosperity, music, good food Dislikes: Cheap beer, laziness, competitive pressure Sexuality: Bisexual Hobbies: Flute, singing, cooking, laying in the sun Life Goals/Dreams: Peace and safety for her people Personality Summary: Stratya is a simple woman with a sharp mind that thinks too much. She'd love to just lay on a hillside and play the flute or have a drink at the tavern all day, but unfortunately, there's much work to be done. She's fairly easy-going, which can cause people to lower their guard to her. Her sergeants usually handle discipline, but she's been known to handle certain cases herself. She might tell a petty thief "ten million years dungeon" with a straight face and then walk away, only to release the poor fellow within the next month while acting like she's completely forgotten about him, instead of it having been her intention from the start.

Background
Current occupation: Inquisitor-Knight Captain Any past occupations?: Baker, Soldier (2 years), Knight (4 years) Relatives: Common folk. Father, mother, brothers and sisters. None so distinguished as to be known by the courts. Skills: Flute and vocals, cooking, swordplay History Summary: A young girl in a small farming village worked in her mother's bakery, helping to make the bread and often carrying the bread throughout her village to the various shops that needed it. Her father was a guard for the village, and he took the time to teach her a bit of swordplay. She was actually quite good, and as she got older, she began to be a challenge for him to keep up with. One day, while on her delivery rounds for lunch, the lass did witness an incident between her father, a member of the town guard, and a criminal. Her father suffered injury in combat and, incited, the young lady did charge. She set her basket of bread down without spilling any as she came forward, picked up her father's dropped sword, and disabled the criminal's sword hand before pinning him down while more guardsmen came to make an arrest. Stratya Durmand began her service to the crown as a common soldier at the age of 18, but through persistent service to the populace beyond her duties as a soldier, she was recognized for excellence and brought into knighthood. As a knight, a sharp mind quickly made her the knight to see for investigations of a wide variety. The investigation that earned her the rank of Captain was the shattering of an underground sorcerer's ring, and the capture of at least a dozen gathered magic-users, and the elimination of just a few violent resistors. She used a small, well-organized squad of knights to round up those that tried to escape. That was two years ago. Since then, she has made for herself quite the name with hard work and solid deductions.
