Here's a fun concept- an American cartomancer (someone who practices divination with cards as their medium; pretty much anything that ends in "-mancy/er" has to do with divination) whose spirit allie is non other than the ghost of Harry Houdini XD 

(It's an ironic gag; in his later years he was fooled by a fake Medium, found out,  and started making a career of finding and exposing fraudsters in this field)
