Rather than a Fomorian, it was a dragon. While he wasn't quite certain if his ancestry bore beast slayers of any variety, he also knew that his Ancestor would more than likely have slain a few dragons in their long lifetime. Still, even if that weren't the case, adding "Dragon Slayer" to his pedigree of titles may be a tempting enough reward for his participation in their battle. "A dragon, huh?" The warrior stroked his chin at the proposition. "Heh... it is nothing to me. The Swordwind will slay all, no matter how many wings or claws it may sport. Very well, I shall aid you in this endeavor. However, my help does not come without a cost." Marduk looked at his cloak and boots. While the enchantment they carried has proven quite useful for its more subtle properties, even he would admit the protection afforded would likely be inadequate if he wished to face off greater foes. Such artefacts of clothing also did not seem to draw the ire of his foes. He'd need something grander to denote his status and pedigree, for those he would face in battle to truly fear the Swordwind. In other words, Marduk wished to upgrade his drip. "I shall lay my first claim on its hide, and you may have what is left of it." The Elf declared, as he meandered onto his horse. "Well? Shall we head off then?" As he would begin to set off towards their destination, Marduk could only chuckle to himself as he imagined how mighty of a foe a dragon would be. "You lot think it's a Fomorian, as well? A... Fomoriwyvern, perhaps?"
