[color=625A8A]"I look fine."[/color] Maeryn retorted a little defensively, picking up the menu firmly. Myra speaking up made him raise a brow, but his eyes remained on the menu. [color=625A8A] "We have to choose what foo we want first..."[/color]He looked over the top of the menu at Astra, [color=625A8A]"I suppose any kind of meat will please Myra?"[/color]

As he awaited her response, he decided to make a choice for himself. [color=625A8A]"Meat soup."[/color] His gaze was pulled to a waitress passing with plates balanced on her arm. One had a huge chunk of meat on it. He asked her quickly as she passed the name of the dish and was informed that it was the Mystery Steak of the day. The woman paused for a moment to show  them before moving on. [color=625A8A]"You want that, Myra?"[/color]He asked.

He folded his arms on the table and narrowed his eyes as a conversation perked his interest from behind their table.

[color=paleturquoise]"Did you see that tornado at the beach today? That was [i]insane.[/i] Where did it come from?"[/color]

[right][color=lightsteelblue]"I saw a girl in the center of it. I think maybe it was one of the humans... I heard they can do that."[/color][/right]

A sigh could be heard. [color=paleturquoise]"Great. That's probably why there are dark elves here now. I came here hoping River Port wouldn't get involved in this war."[/color]

Maeryn wasn't aware of the small smile plastered on his face as he listened. He met Astra's eyes and mouthed to her,  [color=625A8A]"Hear that?"[/color]
