At Serena's suggestion, Chas got up and went to the kitchen to grab some ice, knowing that even if his freezer or fridge was ever empty, there'd always be ice in there. He grabbed some ice, wrapped it in a tea towel. He also quickly got some painkillers out with a glass of water and brought it all out. Kay stayed with John, "you hit the staircase, but you'll be okay" she told him, looking up when she saw Chas return with everything. He handed Kay the makeshift ice pack which she placed on John's neck whilst Chas handed him the pain relief and glass of water, "take this it'll help with the pain" he told John. 

Fia nodded, not surprised to hear that would be the case with Drake. "Makes sense, I won't leave his side" she replied to Serena, having already firmly planted herself by his side on the floor. They never left each other when one or the other was in trouble and she wasn't going to start now.
