I am currently fixing up the character. Going to change the name as well. I don't know if it fits well. My new name may not either. Just felt like not using an OC name. As far as Greed it is in reference to his thirst for knowledge and creation. It is something that was probably given to him by someone else and others started calling him it because of that. Rumors and such as a rich child. Like how his diet is specific. He spends his family's money to get what he needs in order to stay healthy and balanced. That and spends money to research just about everything he can in this world. I'm not sure if they have some kind of MagiTech computer or phones or whatever. But if they do, he probably collected a few of those to fuel his research. Greed, Gluttony, and Pride. These are all nicknames he could have. He is always eating. I mean just about always. He snacks. Has a crazy amount of pride due to his past life and yeah. Just a sinful one.
Oh, wait a sec [@Aqutanama], is your chara part of one of the 4 schools/vigilantes? Doesn't really say on your sheet Not that you need to be a part of them or anything, would just make it somewhat awkward to join in I think
Could he not be that rich kid that got in because of his family's influence? I'm sure that would piss so many people in the school off. Not the players but the characters.
"Okay class, settle down. We have a new student." Informed the teacher. "But it is the middle of the year." One student jokes. "Please introduce yourself." The instructor said, as he showed Maverick the way. Maverick quickly made his way up to the section the instructor showed him. The very tall microphone wasn't within reach. Being young has its drawbacks. He also noticed some of his classmates whispering about something or another. Probably saying that he is short or too young. He decided not to stick out by utilizing his ability here. Showing off could only bring him rivals. Ones he didn't want to waste time on. Therefore, he adjusted the microphone. As he looked out to the classroom, he noticed all eyes were on him. This caused his vision to blur for a moment and his body had a cold chill. His palms started to sweat as he tried to focus. Growing up in a wealthy family that went to big events all the time one should be acclimated to these kinds of environments. However, Maverick was young and felt out of place in most situations. Mainly, because he had almost zero grasp on magi-tech. While his family manufactured said influential artifice. It always made him feel... off. His knowledge was vastly different from this world but that didn't mean that he was perfect. Far from it and he knew it. This was the reason he wanted to join this school. He wanted to advance the technological levels of this world but needed a baseline to start from. St. Laurel's School of Divine Excellence had the facilities that he needed to do so. However, getting into the classes could cause issues. One was supposed to know how to build already. He didn’t, at least not the same build that this world has, and that made things harder for him. His thoughts continued to spin around and around as the room became darker and darker, from his perception that is. One of the students cracked a joke about how short he was. Another said something along the lines of him taking forever for a simple introduction. His breathing became quicker as he stood in front of the class. Then a sort of cold calm washed over him. The darkness of the abyss filled the room, his perception of it. He was once again in the void and somehow this calmed him. “Hello, my name is Maverick Majere. I’m currently 13 years old. Furthermore, I’m willing to learn. Therefore, please take care of me, my elders.” Maverick informed them with a slight bow. He couldn’t help but to smile as he bowed. However, as he came out of his bow his smile vanished. “I will learn everything required to move magitech forwards!” He thought to himself. With his strange introduction he made himself a target. Perhaps, he was just a trap waiting for them to unwittingly step into. Who knows given his age but the gods seemed somewhat entertained to see what would happen.
