I've completed the master sheet, hopefully it's acceptable. Servant sheet is about 50% done, so won't be too much longer. There are many different reasons, but for this one it was simply lack of suitable heirs. It seemed that each generation, the children's magic circuits declined further. In many cases first and second borns would perish in infancy. And so it came to the current day, where the family once was a respected lineage it now only held influence within it's own territory. They still hailed themselves as masters of Geomancy, but their time as a large and affluent line of magi was over. Until, the birth of a new heir. Second child of the current head of house, and next in line to take over due to the fact that her older brother had died well before she was even born. Called Khünbish as was customary of the family's dark humor and futile hope of breaking whatever curse had attached itself to them, the girl was born with a high quality of magic circuits the likes the family hadn't seen in a century or more. Eager to capitalize, the girl's family pushed her hard and early with her magecraft studies. It was clear she was talented, but it was also clear that she wasn't... exactly what her family had expected. "Chabi," as the girl preferred to be called, had all the hallmarks of a family prodigy. For the first few years she was a model student and perfect child. When they made to implant the family's magic crest, their last treasure, into her things took a dangerous turn. A rushed procedure, leading to a near death experience, and resulting in Chabi coming out of the other side of the transfer with a new experience. "Something," she claimed, had saved her life. "Something" that she was sure didn't exist in this world. She'd had a vision while hovering between life and death, and firmly believed that some outside influence had intervened on her behalf. How and why, she had no idea. Her family was skeptical. In the end, the transplant had been a success even with the close call, and so they let it go. However, Chabi did not let it go. She often would look into researching other realms and beings, sometimes even shirking her practical studies. These were the rebellious pre-teen years. With little to no social interaction outside of her family, Chabi did little actual rebelling, but she did indulge herself in the convenience of the mundane world. This is also when she determined that her mysterious savior from so long ago definitely was... an alien, given the "evidence" she'd collected from these trips outside of her home. The next few years were simple. Chabi had an eccentric side that didn't suit a magus, but her ability was too great to write her off. She focused on her family's magecraft, and no one stopped her when she began developing a sub-species of their specialty that was directed up, into space. It was a quiet life, being that the family was still small and fairly isolated. Then, a proverbial call to arms. A magus working with the organization of Chaldea requesting the help of magi. Chabi's family was eager to send her to get some real experience, and perhaps rid of her of the childish cloying to a phantom from the past. Ironic, given the circumstances of the excursion these magi would be going on.
Magecraft Magic Circuits Quality: B Magic Circuits Quantity: B Magical Affinity: Earth, Wind Attribute: Transference Minor Magecraft

General Practice

Common practice magecraft considered the basics, such like bounded field creation, basic familiar creation, reinforcement of items and the self, etc. Chabi has the gist of these down.

Fortune-Telling

A type of divination so weak that it can't even produce a glimpse into the near future. Instead, for Chabi it's more like an advanced warning system. A quick spell that will give her a general read of the day, or read on an action on a three tier system: good luck, neutral luck, or bad luck.

Fortune-Calling

What good is fortune-telling without being able to game the system a little? A rudimentary ability to improve luck, in other words improves the odds something will go well. Does not always work, of course.

Major Magecraft

Geomancy

The first specialization of Chabi's family, though it's not so much their focus as it is a requirement of their focus. Becoming in tune with rocks and earth, shaping and reading them. Also can be used in the classical sense for divination, and it is through this method that Chabi employs her crude fortune-telling.

Natural Invocation

The second specialization of Chabi's family, and their main focus. Making use of the attributes and energies of rock and earth. A two-step process: drawing out the power, and then applying it either to the self or others, whether people or objects. For example, using limestone versus sandstone would produce different effects. This can also be used to amplify a stone or piece of earth, such as to turn the land itself in the family's ally. At the moment Chabi cannot use this method on consecrated, desecrated, or particularly mana rich earth such as the area around leylines.

Unnatural Invocation

Chabi's own specialty, and one that she is still developing. In theory it is similar to Natural Invocation, but using heavenly bodies instead of the earth. A work in progress for her, but possible given the similar work of other magi. With special mediums, she can pull meanings and draw power from "space," as in the other planets and stars. It is not as reliable as her family's proven magecraft, but it works best with what is immediately overhead while she casts.

Primary Mystic Code N.O.T.E. Book A small book, though hard cover and intricately bound as though it were an ancient tome. The contents of it's page are constantly changing. The book tracks the position of things not of this Earth; it shows what celestial bodies are overhead, for how long optimal viewing and invocation will last, and what bodies will soon be next. Non-Magecraft Abilities/Items

Stone picks: technically used as mediums to assist her magecraft, they are small, thin picks that look almost like nails. Come in a variety of make-ups, including iron, stone, and meterorite.
Sketchbook and utensils: she's fairly good at drawing and takes many notes.
A small charm of a "UMA." It's not lucky or anything, but squishing it calms her down.

I like her so far. I'm heading to work, so I'll give her a better glance later.
