Her dress’s top most opening has black frills, which circle her entire body. Her shoulders and collarbones are completely uncovered, with just enough fabric to bridge her sleeves to her torso. Her sleeves end at the elbows, and her forearms are wrapped in what appears to be black twine that ends just before her wrists. Her hands are covered in gloves, and a belted corset pulls in her stomach but ends just below her breasts. Her skirt opens like a flower, and has a “V” cut that makes it longest in the front and back but shorter around her hips. She wears two mismatched stockings, one being pantyhose with the other being netted. Both are tied up with ribbons, and there’s an especially large one on the small of her back. No one has ever seen Ani’s feet, but it’s believed that she wears black shoes with some girly/gothic touches like more lace and ribbons. Without it, you couldn’t see, and it’s what AI’s are able to make use of to create anything. Look away from the screens, and they have no power. Though maybe you should, since you’re liable to get roasted by a beam of pure energy. Those datafarms do generate a lot of power, and Ani can harness all of it. Though her real gift with magic is being able to use light to create illusions. She can simulate things that aren’t there or even bend light to make certain things invisible. It’s not true illusion magic though, and it can only work to obscure something visually, not replicate how it sounds, feels, etc. Also, the large stores of data that Ani has access to makes her almost impossible to lie to. Gravity is her second specialization, which can be used to create gravity wells or adjust the weight of objects/people. With some effort, she can make gravity effects that only work on an individual person/thing, but this is taxing and not something she does often. Though as a gifted mage, she is able to devise anti-time/space spells. It also has a small field of etheric energy around it constantly to deflect attacks and allow her to endure hits that might otherwise be problematic. Perhaps there is no catalyst that can focus her magic, or maybe her rancor is such that it can only be sated with her own hands. She can step into her own vacuums, tornadoes, or any other such wind attacks without worrying about being crushed by them. Overcity Shift: Su can pull the air apart with such force that it can send things to and from the overcity. Sorcery: Su Knows a form of inscription magic that she learned from a Tibetan book of spells, formerly held by a monk. Su can write a single word on an object to cause it to behave a certain way. She can use the spells from the book to make mundane items from magic. As an example, she can write "talk" on two rocks to make walkie-talkies, or write "blow" to make a hand held fan, or "flash" to make a flash bomb of sorts. Su can also store one of her air spells inside a rock and release it when the command word is spoken, causing the word to vanish. Duration of the effects depends on how strong they are, with the longest lasting just over twenty-four hours. Gifted: (Thunderclap) Su can completely evacuate an area of all it's air, and then crush the space between walls of wind. She tends to fight alongside her friends, but is not adverse to fighting alone. More than her speed and her magic, her wit is a valuable tool in her arsenal. While Su is not very durable, she has some strong defensive abilities. Her wind magic is perfectly suited for deflecting projectiles and aiding her in flight. She can compress the air in a given space to make a wall, should the brunt of an attack prove to be impossible to simply avoid or deflect. Her ability to create vacuums can also be used to outright negate certain types of attacks. Like depriving a fire attack of the oxygen it needs to work, or creating a zone where air and sound do not exist. Su can use her magic to protect herself or her allies. Su has no shortage of weapons to use against her opponents. Gusts of wind, flying debris, cyclones, collapsing vacuums, rapid depressurization, and solid wind are all tools in Su's arsenal. Exactly what Su decides to fight with varies depending on the situation, but she will usually use a few of these powers to win a fight. Su tends to fight at a distance, as she knows she isn't as physically capable as other magical girls. If the situation does call for close quarters fighting, you can bet she'll use her dread wings to restrain her opponent(s) first. She always keeps three stones on hand with an inscription on them. Each contains a specific spell she's prepared. The first is a wind burst in all directions. Next is a vacuum bomb that causes a collapsing vacuum to appear. The collapse causes the air outside the vacuum to be pulled towards it, which works to draw in anything in the vicinity. The last is a five second "mini tornado," which also happens to be the strongest spell among those that Su has saved. A large part of her appearing so stern is because she takes both of her jobs very seriously. The vacation has loosened her up a bit however. The black coin has made Su envious of others. History: Emergency After Shining scale was struck down in battle, her familiar took hold of her black coin and used it on herself, transforming into a fully fledged dark magical girl. It took Su a very long time to convince Boteg that, while scared of magical entities, he'd do much better with a magical girl by his side. Since then, Su was tasked with watching out for any of Botegs champions before becoming one herself. Cats and snakes are a favorite of hers. She also shares their heightened senses and some of their speed and strength out of costume. But the most important thing this does is gives her the ability to have cat ears all the time, causing many to think she's a cat girl. Water: Her new patron's magic surges within her. She is able to control water in her vicinity as well as create appendages that shoot the stuff. Most importantly, she can establish her own Keijo fighting arenas! Weapon: Mika uses her entire body as a weapon. Typically after transforming into something more threatening. Power: #1 Tentacles: Mika's tentacle power manifests itself as various long and slender animal parts, from snakes to tentacles. Perks: Enhanced outfit: Mika's outfit is able to secrete enough water to slide at will, giving her a small boost to her AGI. Sorcery: Mika Knows how how to commune with spirits through rituals and totem objects. Through interpretive dance, willing spirits can let her know about a person or place if the local spirits know about it. She can also capture spirits in handmade dream catchers. Healing artifact: Mika wears a choker that gives her slow, consistent regeneration as long as she's funneling mana into it. She can also choose to heal others if she's touching them. Power artifact (Artifact): Mika was gifted some trick head gear. It allows for the creation of flat, stationary barriers in front of her hands or under her feet. They aren't strong, but let her do things like "double jump" and block smaller projectiles before shattering. Patron: Dan Patron Benefits: interdimensional Archipelago: After ten seconds of concentration, Mika may open and/or close a portal to the beach dimension anywhere in her line of sight. The portal is usually the size of a door, but can be adjusted as necessary up to the size of a castle gate or as small as a mousehole. The beach dimension is fully equipped to provide a tropical getaway. Keijo Training: Mika is infused with the ancient knowledge of Keijo masters. Not only does this improve her physical abilities and close-combat skills, but also trains her breathing ability, increasing your mana. +1 to MAG, +1 to STR, and slightly reduces mana cost. Payment: Mo allowance for fake cat grills. Supply: So much stuff on the beach! Transportation: The Nimbus: A cloud that is big enough to carry a handful of people across the sky. It's no sky bastion, but it does allow everyone to discreetly fly around. Patron Drawbacks: Lonely: Dan is by nature a social Patron, and requires regular attention. Failure to do so for an extended amount of time results in him turning vengeful and punishing the magical girl with petty curses. Joy Eater: Dan feeds on joy and happiness, and when deprived of those emotions turns gradually weaker, diminishing the magical girl's powers in turn until he is fed. Big Brother: He takes interest in Mika. Maybe too much interest... Clueless: If Mika needs any advice from her Patron, she's not getting it. Fighting Style: Mika is a balanced magical girl Who primarily uses poison and charm to bypass her opponent's defenses. Unless under special circumstances, she prefers to wear down her opponents into a non-lethal take down over killing. At least, if the opponent has some semblance of intelligence. Mika can be quite creative with the animal parts she chooses to use. She can temporarily grant herself the limbs of any animal she can think of, which is quite an extensive list. Due to her desire to not kill her opponent, her goal is usually to slow them down. Her poison can weaken one's strength, sometimes to the point that they can't break free from the approaching tentacles. She's definitely not shy about putting her Keijo training to good use. If everything goes right, they will eventually have no choice but to surrender or pass out. Between her transforming limbs and tentacle power, she has no shortage of tools to keep her opponents busy. Of course, this is not enough to bring down every magical girl. Fortunately, Mika is something of an opportunist, and prefers to fight alongside other girls. Her water magic is a new acquisition, but something she's already making great use of. She enjoys using water to reduce friction and slide along various surfaces. It also has its uses for ranged attacks, or if Mika wants to hit an opponent from various angles. She's heard of the tales of Shining scale, and is able to duplicate some of the things she could do. But Mika's ability to create water isn't as strong as the late shining scale's, so there needs to be a lot of water already present for her to pull off certain moves. Even when getting hit by something painful she'll usually shrug it off with a giggle. This can often make her seem oblivious or insensitive. Any sort of failure on her part tends to make her feel really down. History: Mika's background is fairly normal as far as teenage girls go. No exciting family drama, no getting picked on in class (mostly because she didn't know they were picking on her) and certainly no traumatic deaths that she can recall. The only oddity was that she was a teenager who was more interested in animals than her smart phone. It probably helped that she was a farm hand. While normally such clones aren't very useful, thanks to her gifted spec she can give the Clones a bit of an extra oomph. Notably, they're made of a malleable sort of metal that they can shape and use to great effect, either appearing as simple statues, as well as shaping their own bodies to use various weapons. Durable, hollow automatons that can function even when extremely damage and turning their own bodies into weapons. An arm into a spear, hammer, or other weapon. Granted with hier low magical ability, she's not going to be creating an overwhelming number at a time, but it's good to always have someone with another target.
