Well I'm afraid I'll have to decline on participating then, as I'm not too active on Discord as of late and it's not my preferred way by which to RP, but my interest remains peaked as this kind of superhero RP idea seems like it could be a lot of fun. And in regards to the powers, that makes sense. I suppose, like always, mind control and other such effects would need to be handled carefully or avoided outright, but that still leaves quite a lot of abilities to choose from.
