An hour ago they changed that forecast for partial clouds today and scattered showers for the rest of the week. A half hour ago there were reports that a tropical storm would cause torrential downpour for hours at a time, and might cause flooding in some areas. Now Pax Harbor was watching for tornados, and it seemed like a pretty big one was forming. But this was no ordinary wind storm. Oros waited on the top of Axis Mundi Enterprises, the tallest building in Pax Septimus. While most buildings were about five stories tall, and a few were as high as fifty stories, Axis Mundi was over a hundred stories. She could get a view of just about every other part of the massive city. Though the overcast skies and distant tornado hampered visibility. But good visibility wasn't essential for what was coming. The cultist had opened up a lawn chair and sat in it. Cold lemonade in one hand and her sword in the other. ”Oros?” Sharr approached the relaxing esper. ”It's going to arrive shortly, isn't it?” ”Why do you think I'm drinking this? It's going to turn into a bloody Mary later.” She slurped her drink. ”The new glamors work great, by the way. I'm glad the Grand Magistrate got them done in time.” ”You're welcome?” The purple haired girl tipped her head. ”Your backup was quite old. You're fortunate I'm so good at my job.” ”Fortune implies I didn't seek you out for that purpose.” Oros stood up and set what was left of her drink in her seat. ”Guess this is going to be goodbye for a time?” ”For a time.” Sharr smiled. ”But you convinced that doctor to come help you out, right?” ”It's not the same though.” Oros ran for the building's edge. ”But that's enough foreshadowing for now. we've got places to be!”
[sub][@SilverPaw][@Majoras End][@Ponn][@FamishedPants][/sub] "Hello agents! Hopefully you've read all the documentation we have on the Holy Diver, because it's finally going to land. Its first spell is going to be a tide of blood. Estimates place the Diver right in front of the historic district, so if you could head to the roof of Precinct #11 that would be swell! Oh, and I doubt this will be a surprise to anyone, but monster activity has really ramped up recently. We expect them to come out in droves while we try and stop this thing. Binky and I will be en route to your location, but we may be a bit late." ”Fritzi! The bullets do nothing! Help!” "That's my cue! Here's to a successful operation!" Such a standard message from Fritzi, yet this was probably going to be their greatest foe yet. Regardless of where the Gemini espers stood, they would notice the rain had started to pick up. In addition to that, a dark shape was forming in the clouds.
[sub][@The World][/sub] Shimer was lit up with reports on the Holy Diver. Everything from estimated arrival times to possible locations. Among all this was a few shit posts about a rare world boss spawning that dropped rare loot. But none of that was an issue for Marrie at the moment. While rain fell on Pax Septimus, her zombie companion had decided to make a run for it. It had been weeks since Stacy had a head, and it seemed that she was done bumbling around Marrie's home waiting for something to happen. But maybe not. It wasn't like Stacy made a habit of communicating her desires, as she had no head and couldn't read text messages. Moreover, it seemed like something in this aproaching storm was calling her.
