Stuffing his hands into his pockets, Maxwell stepped inside, flashing Adeira a friendly smile as he did so. "Oh, about three after Wednesday," he said quietly. 'Twas one of the many little jokes he liked to make whenever she asked him that. In a way it was his manner of making light of the shitty situation they'd both ended up in. At the mention of the incident, however, he winced. It wasn't a pleasant memory to say the least, even if it was one link in the chain of events that had led to their eventual meeting. Then again they could have met just as easily at any time before this shitstorm kicked off, which would have saved them all the trouble and trauma... Shaking his head, Maxwell turned his attention back to Adeira. "Are you alright?" he asked with quiet concern. "Is it that memory again?"
