[quote=@Restalaan] [@Enkryption] To clarify. Yes Gringor is indeed attacking and fighting Alice/Caroll. Honestly, if it wasn't Alice/Caroll, it would've been Takeshi or Nobutada eventually. He was looking for one either ways. [/quote] That's fine. It was serendipitous, actually, since I got an excuse to showcase how Alice's spellswordplay works in a serious manner, and reveal that her casting system actually uses those couplets, until she's mastered the attack, and [Heavenly Strike] requires a full stanza. The strength of the spell is Technique > Couplet > Stanza. Hopefully, the scene overall isn't too OP, though. I'm not fond of writing out PvP combat, and Alice is designed to absolutely overtake Bruisers and match Speedsters. So, Gringor, genuinely, just picked his worst matchup in Alice, as [Inverse Rainbow] is a damage-dealing parry, while [Inverse Eruption] is a counterattack stun, and her major weakness is ranged attacks, because her counter-hits are all melee range, due to her speed and ability to close gaps.
