Dai is of average height but is on the slightly underweight side. He has dark red, scruffy hair and pale skin. He dresses in well worn, dark clothes that are appropriate for the weather and carries a large and very heavy, well used, backpack crafted from natural materials.

Wendigo (Secretly) - Dai is cursed to be a Wendigo. He has an instinct to want to eat human flesh and if he looses control he transforms into his Wendigo form, where he becomes much stronger and much more dangerous.

His Wendigo form is strong, powerful and ruthless. 

[i]Personality:[/i]
Dai comes across as an unapproachable and unfriendly character, he can be quick to ensure someone knows to keep their distance by being rash. No-one has gotten close to Dai since his life was turned into a nightmare purely down to the fact that he keeps everyone away. He appears strong on the outside, however inside Dai is crumbling and crying out for someone who can save him; either emotionally of physically. 
His Wendigo curse takes up so much of his life that Dai has almost forgotten who he is.

[i]Biography:[/i]
Much about Dai is a mystery due to his reluctance to get to know new people, so he is only known via rumour and speculation. 
The truth is that Dai grew up in a middle classed human family of 3 other siblings and his parents. Life was pretty unremarkable, his parents worked hard to keep their family well. Dai was expected to have a good future, he was averagely educated and had been working for some time with his father at his leather workshop to earn some money for him to travel and find work...However things did not turn out that way when the hiking trip from hell resulted in the death of Dai's brother and Dai loosing his humanity to the curse of the Wendigo. 

After the incident, Dai abandoned his family, his friends and his home town as he knew he would no-longer have a place to belong there and was afraid to show his face there again. Dai began to travel, forever seeking a sanctuary of safety that doesn't exist.

- Humanity and the things that make him feel human again.

- Charting the stars and creating star maps.

- His curse of the Wendigo and his inability to live normally.
- Being isolated with no-one to trust in.

- People knowing his secret, especially those who would want to murder him. (Wendigo.)

- Has to stay in control always.
- He has trust issues. 
- Food and drink makes him feel ill.

The only cure for his curse is to stab his non-beating heart, although this also kills him.
