Obsidian is amazing. Obsidian looked at Fallout 3 and went "Oh, that's cute how you totally disregard established canon and chronology and your setting makes no sense given the time period. Step aside, we'll show you how to make a real Fallout 3, because this team is made up of dudes what made Fallout 2." And then years before that they looked at BioWare and was all "Wow that Star Wars game you guys made sure was nifty. Step aside, we'll show you how to make a Star Wars story that a lot of people will dislike because instead of a simple 'WHOAMG PLOT TWEEST', instead we're making a story dissecting and debating the incredibly stupid duality that is the Star Wars Force system. An intelligent look at a deeply flawed concept will be overlooked by the average gamer who will take the incredibly well written character of Kreia and just go 'SHE'S OLD AND SHE DOESN'T DEAL IN LIGHT OR DARK SIDE I HATE HER SO ANNOYING.' Because we're Obsidian, and we make great games and get constantly screwed over by publishers and forced deadlines."
