Greetings from the dismal isle of Britain. Recent events have handed me spare hours in the day & I would be remiss as a purveyor of the fine art of weaving tales of romantic gay bullshit to not take advantage of this time to engage in said art. Do we still classify writers into literacy categories? Forgive me if not. I'd consider myself highly literate with a particular fondness for writers that can bring a scene to life without drowning it in the swampy depths of purple prose or leaving it Mojave-barren in favor of swiftness. Like many others, I tend to write more quickly at the start of a story when caught in the initial throes of creation & slow down once the scene has been set and the novelty of the new has worn off; I should nevertheless mention that a story left to languish often dies in the imagination so I do prefer a partner that doesn't go weeks without responding. I suppose that's enough about myself to paint a general sort of picture, and I look forward to writing with many of you in the hopefully near future. - antiquity
