She is sassy and outspoken. Due to the nature of her family's clairvoyance she developed a bad habit of spoiling news, and was not one you wanted to take to the movies. Dia grew to love history, and the study of the past. It was how she had grounded the future. Her mother approved, always telling her that the best way to see the future is to understand the past. Learning from past mistakes. Sometimes Dia will recite mistakes that have been made under similar circumstances as to assist a person, or group on a possible decision. This may be to repeat an outcome or avoid it. Dia is kind, and cares for her coven and family, she is not afraid to display these emotions, even to the point of embarrassment for the parties evolved. History/Bio: Coming from a long line of Witches, it is no surprise that Dia quickly became a powerful witch by her own right. Her Lineage within Tanner goes back, almost to the first of the coven. Her family was recruited for their powerful divination magic, and understanding of the past. Her family tree is rooted in Hungary, but they know that Tanner is where they belong. Her family has provided many creatures with their possible futures, both supernatural, and non-magic alike. Some chose to be simple fortune tellers, and bring income to the coven, while others chose to advise higher members within the coven itself. They are not known for taking action in the face of danger, and would choose to stay behind to protect their homes before running off the battle and defending the world from the supernatural. Aradia, or Dia to those who know her, has always craved excitement and testing limits, as vexing as it was for her family. From a young age she would watch witches and warlocks go off the fight. Once or twice even sneaking out of Tanner to try and get a better view. She had a nightmare the previous night of a fight when she was 8, of a warlock, and blood, and the way his face contorted in fear. It was this that caused her to follow that warlock that day. She had been hiding behind a tree when the warlocks was lunged out towards her, the knife had sunk deep into her arm, and the warlock had looked at her, mortified by what he had just done. It clicked for her at that moment, that this was the moment she dreamed about. Dia was rushed back to Tanner for healing, but was left with a permanent scar to her left arm. Like this event, if Dia does see future events, they are pieces of a picture, and never clear, at least not yet. Her mother kept a close eye on Dia from that day. Not letting her too far out of her sight. Dia was forced to attend boring lunches, and watching after members of her coven. She never resented the work, but knew her true calling was to help everyone, not just the Tanner coven. Once she graduated, Dia left Tanner and headed to Seattle University where she would spend the next 5 years obtaining her duel degrees, before getting as job consulting for a Seattle coven. She would learn that her divination magic runs deeper than her mothers, as while attending her anthropology classes she found that if she concentrated with a piece of history, whether is be a bone or a weapon, she could temporarily borrow a small piece of knowledge from said artifact. She would never use this the cheat, nor would she tell anyone. She wasn't sure what this power truly was, but she nourish it on her own. Dia worked there for about a year, and in exchange for her clairvoyance, the members would teach her other schools for magic, allowing her a deeper understanding on conjuration. It was through this method that she learned how to conjure weapons, and different weather. However, she hasn't mastered invocation enough to sufficiently control the elements, just bring them into being. This has caused some unpredictability in her life, which she enjoys. Communication with her birth coven was minimal by her choice to distance herself from her blood family, although she knew that she would be returning one day. That day came faster than her thought, when her mother sent her a letter informing her that most of the members of her family had retired, and that new members were taking over. Recalling her childhood, Dia remembered the open minded, and friendly people that she had grown up with, maybe this was her chance to feel at home within the Tanner family. Dia purchased a ticket home, worried that the future she saw wasn't the path they would choose, but ready to stand up the future she believed in.
