I think part of it is I find Indie films often have a certain atmosphere I don't much care for.  Of those movies only Runaways and Lighthouse sound even vaguely interesting.  And that because I'm hoping Runaways is about the band and Lighthouse looks similar to this movie I saw called Cold Skin which was pretty cool.
