An interesting twist, for sure, but I'm not certain how well being a Raptor is going to translate into an RP. It all but eliminates verbal interaction and reduces personalities to baseline instincts, which may prove challenging to write and bland to read. Were you inspired by an RP that has attempted this before? I'd love to take a gander at the concept in practice.
The primary inspiration for this RP comes from the novel Raptor Red, as well as a RP on a long-defunct Jurassic Park fan forum. For an example of what I mean, you can listen to some audio excerpts from Raptor Red here and here, and read a quick excerpt here. In the Jurassic canon, Velociraptors are shown to be incredibly intelligent, with distinct personalities and the ability to operate on intelligent thought instead of pure instinct. However the way you'd explore the world around you would be like an animal. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you smell? How do you fit into the pecking order of the pack? Do you need to worry about competition for food and territory? And if you do, how will you react to this competition?
