I've written up a quick field guide entry for the three primary varieties of Velociraptor.

Velociraptor Variations
As of 2024, the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife is aware of three distinct variations of Velociraptor mongoliensis. While the majority of Velociraptors tend to take on a certain appearance, individuals may express genetic variation in the form of different eye color or a difference in skin color and/or pattern. Hybrids of these variations exist, but at the moment, there is very little information available about them due to their scarcity.

Velociraptor mongoliensis "ingen"
Male | Female

Height: 6ft/1.83m
Length: 13ft/3.96m
Weight: 330lbs/149.7kg
About: The first version of Velociraptor, cloned from preserved DNA by International Genetics in 1986 for exhibition in Jurassic Park. Of the variations, V.m. "ingen" is the most well-known to the public. They tend to be larger and more aggressive than the other variations, often favoring brute force and simple tricks over advanced tactics. They tend to be more confrontational than the other breeds, be it towards intruders or pack mates; of all the reported Velociraptor attacks since 2020, almost half of them were attributed to the "ingen" variant. Females tend to be larger than males, and it's not uncommon for packs consisting solely of V.m. "ingen" individuals to be led by a dominant female. Males are well known for their bright, tiger-like coloration, and often sell for a premium in the black market, dead or alive. Among them was the second version of the Velociraptor species. Given the creation of the Indominus rex in 2012, some have postulated a theory that V.m. "wu" was created as an attempt to create an attack animal. While the original iteration of Velociraptor were known for their problem solving abilities, the second iteration's problem solving abilities were even more advanced. According to files dug up by the Dinosaur Protection Group, as well as reports from individuals involved in the Isla Sorna incident of 2001, V.m. "wu" possesses an uncanny ability to read and play off of the emotions of humans and other animals. While not shy, this version of Velociraptor tends to avoid confrontations with humans when possible; in most encounters, V.m. "wu" will chase humans out of their territory without resorting to violence. Males and females are usually the same size, and hierarchy in the pack is usually determined by strength and hunting prowess. Both sexes are aggressively protective of eggs and offspring, and juveniles are looked after by all members of the pack.

Velociraptor mongoliensis "sapphirus"
Male | Female

Height: 5.7ft/1.74m
Length: 12ft/3.66m
Weight: 300lbs/136.08kg
About: First documented after the Biosyn Incident in 2022, V.m. "sapphirus" is the first variation of Velociraptor created since 2012. The first individuals were discovered in the possession of an eccentric billionaire in the United Kingdom. Genetic analysis of the variant shows that the breed was hybridized between the DNA of V.m. "ingen" and V.m. "wu", and genetically modified to have brighter, more colorful skin patterns. In terms of temperament, they can be unpredictable. Some are shy and avoid confrontations whenever possible, while others take after V.m. "ingen", and are willing to challenge almost anything if they feel threatened. Regardless, they are much more willing to come close to humans than the other varieties, be it for the sake of satisfying their own curiosity or stealing food from them. An odd behavior V.m. "sapphirus" tend to exhibit is a habit of collecting things that catch their fancy, ranging from pieces of shiny metal, to odd rocks, and sometimes bones.
