So, one of the several character ideas I'm considering involves playing an Aven boyo(from Amonkhet). My only issue is I'm not [i]really[/i] interested in possessing a flying speed right off the bat. It also aesthetically fits the character idea for his wing(s) to be damaged and non-functional. Would it be reasonable to forego the Aven's natural flying speed entirely and instead acquire a land speed of 30ft (Avens have 25ft land speed, 30ft flying speed, by default)?
	If this would not be acceptable, I understand, of course. It is not paramount to my participation.
