His knowledge of history is excellent (as expected) and while he seemed to waver on the decision based questions, he would be a very promising addition to the Support class. I know his father is very adamant about his placement, but this is something to consider. [b]|| Practical test ||[/b] Physically, Mr. Cashmore seems far behind the rest of his class. He has a solid foundation in terms of hand to hand combat, but he does not seemed especially inclined towards violence. He scored well enough on the agility section of the exam, but his real strength is in his abilities. Shocking, I know. Mr. Cashmore exhibited a stunning level of psychic prowess, prowess that he seemed mostly unaware of. Even if he wasn't a Cashmore, acceptance might be necessary to ensure his powers are monitored. [b]|| Written essay topic ||[/b] Mr. Cashmore's essay was an uncharacteristically bold argument, suggesting more potential than initially clocked. He focused on the current failings of the hero system, particularly in regards to rehabilitation. While his thoughts were idealistic at best, naive at worst, his argument was well researched, and impassioned. He certainly cares enough to be a hero. Alexander had left the hero world behind, but he was never far from his old life. After all, Cashmore Global was built on the backs of Gifted and their abilities. For a time, the couple were happy, idyllic even. They were enjoying their seats at the top, and Elena's pregnancy came as a sign of hope. They did not expect such a difficult birth. Matthew came into the world as his mother left it, and the only person to greet him was a despondent, broken, father. Alexander took little interest in his son's early years. He was cared for by nanny's, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, but rarely his father. Until his powers manifested that is. When Matthew's potential began to reveal itself, some time after his eighth birthday, his father began their training together in earnest. Matthew though, was resistant to his powers. Despite his father's tutelage, he resisted the innate gifts he possessed, afraid to strengthen them for fear of what he might become. He'd seen the way his father used his powers, the way he commanded his employees with just a thought. He would not be like that. Eventually, Alexander's renewed interest in his son faded away to nothing, and Matthew was left to hired trainers, focusing on hand to hand combat. Training was never his favorite activity, but he knew that he had little choice. William and Athena might carry on the Cashmore legacy in their own way, but they would never be him.
