To some of you I am a familiar name or old acquaintance, but I think that for most I'm a new face. Actually, I'm an old guildie, from before Guildfall even. Since then, my activity has dropped over the years though I was involved with the Persistent World/Galaxy sub-forum in the Star Wars universe. Before that, I earned my stripes hosting and co-hosting GoT-inspired roleplay games. The observient have undoubtedly noticed that this would be a revamp of that. With House of the Dragon released and winged terrors flying across your screen, I figured "why not now?".

Evidently, this is a game set in the world of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series, as well as the short stories of the Hedge Knight, and most recently HBO's adaption series 'Game of Thrones' and 'House of the Dragon'. This is, however, an 'Alternate Universe' game. While canon is where our story begins...it will certainly not be where it ends. 

Most importantly this game will continue the tradition of a hybrid approach of sandbox and storyline RP all our prior games have had.  Who will we play? Lords high and small, members of their households, smallfolk, prelates, mercenaries, knights, damsels,... Some characters would not be open for play, being reserved for storytelling purposes or plot development. This doesn't mean you cannot (re)create a house from scratch. Possibilities are legion, and mostly limited only by your imagination (or GM approval). So go ahead, plot and scheme with or against your fellow players.

Before I start working out the details and bury people under a [url=https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Wall]wall[/url] of text, I would like interested parties to rank their preferred time periods. My own preference, this time, would be an adapted Dance (perhaps with very different dreamt up characters), but I am also curious about player predisposition.
