Aight so I'm thinking 

Joel finds Kitsune and Bouncer and either shakes them awake or hauls them off somewhere safer until they wake up and make themselves useful 

They go find this testing facility and fuck shit up. Of course they probs alert the FBI also but aint nobody got time to wait for them to get their asses in gear

Some shit goes down

Eventually they save the day and all the evil scientists are arrested and the surviving test subjects are either released or sent into some kind of special facility (x-men music plays)

Then Joel says okay fuck this superhero shit and retires 

Then we get season 2! :D
