In the past, these games could get quite large. Typically you start out with one house and operate its characters and household members. It's not uncommon to pick up several characters or even several houses, as long as everyone is having fun.

A tourney is as good a place as any to start ;) now that it seems clear that people prefer Blackfyre over the Dance, I'll start working on an OOC which will include details such as starting date, reserved characters etc.
