Adept[/color] ] - Abdel was one of the Afortunado, and while still early in his initiation, his position as a Thunderchild made him naturally capable in this branch. He can unleash powerful discharges of electricity that can reach throughout his massive range. He also uses it to enhance his motor functions, making him appear more ‘normal’ than most tethered, with his legs being ‘manipulated’ consciously when needed. He does often get ahead of himself, making way for nastry cramps and minor burns typical of an eager thunderchild.

[color=9e0039][b]Once known as Ali Bukhari, second son of a prestigious family in Virang - One standing at the very top of the Darhannic Clergy of the country - and now a forgotten Tethered in Torragon known only as Abdel. His lineage’s renown for thunder-based divination had at least left him with the uncommon gift of the Thunderchild, offering the abandoned teen at least an option when it came to his new half-existence. He was one of the Afortunado - A group of Tethered youths with enough power to be trained as special assassins - as a unique case of having lower RAS but a blood type that greatly made up for it. He was only about halfway through his initial training before the Ersand’Enise group came and changed everything. He grew close to one in particular: Zarina Al-Nader, a fellow Virangish girl and one that gave him attention that almost felt nostalgic of his forgotten life. After being given a scholarship by the Duque Frannemas, he joined the group in the great school of Thaumaturgy and hopes to find new opportunities in the short life he has.

Abdel was always more trouble than anything else, even before his stay in the Refuge. He likes to show off, puff out his chest in front of the girls and try to get ahead with little tricks or cons albeit with no real malice behind his endeavours. Although behind his confident facade hides the all too common insecurity he feels like many other teens, especially when wits come into play and he often gets too bullheaded to properly handle situations. He holds grudges, and deep down feels a strong hatred for what his family has done to him, even if he hides it very well. He has not forgiven them and intends to confront them despite Zarina’s warnings. As of now, he wishes to attend athletic activities to enjoy the mobility he still has and live out his ‘prime’, while keeping up with some of his usual habits he had since the Refuge. One can often find him running or stretching at the Arboretum if he isn’t hanging out with others of his age group.[/b]
