[@Nyahahameha] Hey there! So I’ll answer your questions as best I can. 1. Rift Warriors IX would be the title yes. In this universe, Rift Warriors is a major franchise like Smash Bros or Mortal Kombat so it has a lot of iterations. 2. I honesty hadn’t considered the possibility of already super powered beings taking part. That being said, I’m open to the idea. I’d say… they’d receive some sort of boost, but it wouldn’t be to the same level as the non-powered characters. So long as they aren’t super overpowered (I.e. don’t make a Superman character) I’m willing to allow it. 3. So… this is the BIG one. To answer your question, yes the powers the characters have will depend on their personality AS WELL AS their time period of origin. Here’s an example based on a character concept I made. Yagami Arata the “Firearm Demon” - A ronin from the Sengoku period of Japan (circ. 1543). Once a former Samurai, Arata had his katana confiscated during one of Hideyoshi’s sword hunts. With no blades to defend himself he took up firearms; specifically the Tanegashima Rifle. With his newfound weapon, Arata became famous as one of the deadliest riflemen in Japan. His fascination with the rifle led him to discover other forms of artillery such as bombs, and grenades. After being summoned to the rift, Arata has received the ability to manifest old weaponry and explosives. Typically he can summon a tanegashima rifle out of thin air and fire it or he can summon a group of rifles and fire a salvo. Other items he can generate include primitive grenades, as well as cannons. His ultimate attack allows him to convert his rifle back into a katana and unleash a furious combo on his foes before firing a point blank rifle shot.
