That being said, prior to being trapped in Shattered Planes Online he was quite shy, and rarely had many friends in real life. Since being trapped, he's grown up a bit, though still prefers going solo unless necessary. He's knowledgeable about the game's weapons and equipment, and to a lesser extent has firsthand experience with many of the game's enemies. Background: When Tetsuo was young he would spend his summers on his grandparents' farm, where he would help with chores, part of which included helping his grandfather with the cattle. Unfortunately when his grandfather passed away, his family was forced to sell this farm. Between the work and what his grandma called "Texas-sized" meals, he was always a bit bigger than his peers, though he fell more in line with them when they reached high school. He began playing first person shooters as a hobby in middle school, and he became quite good at them. Unlike his peers he didn't go to college and instead got a job. Then one day he received an email in his mailbox: an invitation to a game called Shattered Planes Online. "The multiverse awaits you, Pioneer. Will you accept the challenge?" Tetsuo didn't see the harm in signing up for a new game. But when he went to the site everything when dark around him. When he came to, he was inside some kind of advanced facility alongside thousands of other people from across the world. Nobody knew where they were, or how they had gotten there. Their confusion was soon addressed by the hologram of a woman, who welcomed them to Shattered Planes Online. She explained what had happened: each and every one of them had been chosen by an entity known as the Game Master to "play" in the world they had created for the chosen. Like any game, there were mechanics and rules to follow, as well as enemies to slay. Each player was given three lives. If a player ran out of lives outside of certain events (such as PvP combat), they would be transported back to Earth at the very moment they had been taken. The Game Master had chosen them for his own amusement, but the hologram gave them a choice. If they wanted to leave, the Game Master would send them back, no questions asked. But if they stayed, whatever riches they had accumulated in Shattered Planes would transfer over to Earth... and the individual(s) who defeated the final boss would be granted whatever they wished when they returned to Earth. Taking on the alias "Ajax", Tetsuo decided to stay and press his luck. Other Information:

Afraid of bugs (especially spiders), though if they're large enemies or bosses they tend not to phase him for some reason. Anything the size of a Chihuahua or smaller scares him to death.
His Gunsmithing level is proficient enough to modify most common weapons' stats.
Most familiar with enemies from science fiction and fantasy franchises.
