I'll write up the Ivory Court a bit later. This is the character, so far.

Lumen Ivory

[ROW][/ROW][ROW][CELL] [SUB]________________________________________[/SUB][SUB] Lumen, Two Hundredth Son of the Ivory Court. Recently Matured | Male | Fae[/SUB][SUP]_______________________________________________[/SUP] ❏ BIRTHPLACE: The Ivory Court. ❏ CASTE: Fledgling Knight. ❏ AFFILIATIONS: The Ivory Court of Fae. ❏ GOALS: As is the expectation of every Ivory Fae upon reaching maturity, Lumen’s goal is to venture into the outside world where he can grow in experience and knowledge. [SUP]_______________________________________________[/SUP] TALENTS: ◆ Swordsmanship. ◆ Physical Prowess. ◆ Drawing. EQUIPMENT: ◆ Fae Sword. ◆ Traveling Cloak. ◆ Pouch of Coin. [/CELL][CELL]Appearance [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Short, petite, and slender, Lumen clearly doesn't fit the typical archetype of a warrior. However, such is the way of Fae. Possessing a height of five feet, the lad expresses a scrawny presence, appearing quite unremarkable in response. Above his nose rests two large, inhumanly large eyes, offering a glaring contrast to his chalk white skin with an obsidian black surface. Dressed in a wanderer's attire, Lumen lacks the evident apparel of his standing, something finding its purpose in his pilgrimage among the 'common folk'. Personality [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] A knight belongs on the battlefield, with blade in hand and stalwart resolution in full swing. Lumen might not be a notably experienced cavalier, but he certainly embodies the ideals presented when the subject of knighthood reaches the forefront. Always first to charge in, oftentimes without consideration or a plan in the works, he tends to think with his heart more so than his head. Lumen means well, truly, and his actions reveal this in spades, but there are times where carefully laid out tactics triumph over ambition. He has much to learn, and though the boy raises his blade without a second thought, neigh immune to the effects of fear and anxiety, he would do well to take a breath and stock of the situation. No matter how often he finds himself beaten down and struggling to take his next step, Lumen does not give up. He is stubborn, almost stupidly so, but few could hope to stifle the inferno burning within this young demon’s heart. They say that it’s the thought that counts, and truly, the thoughts are there. Lumen is anything but suave and charming, unless one finds the innocent ramblings of a battle hardened dreamer charming. He doesn’t weave pretty words written in novels, and he doesn’t know how he would go about sweeping a prince off his feet, but a sharp toothed smile and resolute determination has gotten him this far. ‘Hope never fades,’ a powerful statement uttered in earnest, and one Lumen often repeats. ‘Hope continues to live with your every breath. Wield it with your sword, and sharpen it with your spirit.’ It is quite the task to rid Lumen of his warrior’s soul. One might consider him naive, and truly, that isn’t far from the truth. However, it is foolish to believe that once Lumen has set his mind to something, that he will let go of that dream; that mission. Though Lumen is driven by a sense of self-proclaimed duty, it would be a lie to claim that there wasn't another reason behind his constant, ever-lasting pursuit of excitement and heroism; it is fun. Whether it is with sword in hand or claws held high, the rush of battle, the thought of adventure, and the image of supernatural splendor brings to Lumen's face a smile unlike any other. Almost an addiction, everyone has a drive, and rushing headfirst into certain danger is simply in the boy's nature. Arcana [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Major: The Sun
Like his kin, Lumen is linked to the Arcana of the Sun. It is a force displaying itself as a soothingly white energy, a layer which allows for a soft, gentle glow emanating from the boy's skin at all times. At this level of power, Lumen is unable to actively extend his Arcana onto others, but rather, the magic flowing through his nature as a Fae allows for a passive effect of regeneration and agelessness, something shared across the Ivory Court. However, Lumen's age of a recently matured young man renders him currently unable to extend this magic onto others, something that will show itself with practice and time. When hurt, Lumen's blood appears to be golden white, and it is speculated that the blood of an Ivory Fae can afford an aspect of their biology onto those who imbibe, healing any ailment. This has not been proven, however. Despite Lumen's young nature, and inability to actively wield his magic, the boy has proven to be incredibly resilient due to its presence, healing him and keeping him healthy.
Minor:
N/A.
[/CELL][/ROW]

Combat: 7/10 A formally trained Knight, swordsman, and warrior, Lumen has followed the traditions of his people, and adopted a journey towards martial excellence since an early, tender age. Culture: 2/10 Having spent his entire life secluded from the outside world, within the embrace of ivory walls, he is left knowing close to nothing about the culture and politics of a world he just now ventured into. Commerce: 2/10 Coming from a prestigious Fae bloodline of Ivory Knights, Lumen was never faced by the prospect of economic struggle; until now. Part of his pilgrimage through experience is to survive and manage himself without the aid of his kin. Magic: 4/10 Like all of his people, Lumen is tied to the Arcana of the Sun. It is a natural part of his species, and on its way to grow alongside the boy himself. Survival: 4/10 As is expected of a Knight, Lumen can, despite his inexperience, manage the essential basics of survival. He knows how to cook, albeit leaving much to be desired, and he knows how to set up a proper, makeshift den to guard him against stormy nights. Karma:3/10

I love Hollow Knight. Thank you for incorporating the Arcana into the character lore, we stan that shit. Stats are balanced and work for the character thematically. We're going to have him get scammed often, he'll be in nothing but a potato sack. Definitely unload any of the ideas you have in mind for Fae and the Ivory Court as I'd love to incorporate them. [SUP]_______________________________________________[/SUP] TALENTS: ◆ Outdoorsy. Living in the woods for 20 years gives you a good sense of how to get around without anyone's help. ◆ Keeping It Contained. There are many terrible things that Tennaeus could do, but he fights the urge. ◆ Sounding Mystic. Strange revelations sometimes come as plain as day, but who would believe them if they didn't sound vague? EQUIPMENT: ◆ Carving gear, with which he can make animal corpses into more useful things. ◆ Traps, which is useful for making animals into animal corpses. ◆ A crossbow, which the Gods convinced him is the best solution for making animals into animal corpses when the traps don't work. [/CELL][CELL]Appearance [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] A handsome and stately man prior, his appearance is now warped and strange - pale, pitted skin pulled taut over a muscular but thin frame, sunken and glassy eyes that glow with an eerie light, narrow fingers tipped with claws and a hunched back. He wears a bulky raiment of animal bone and carapace tied over long rags and rattling strings of bone-chip prophecies he's etched to remind only himself. He wears a thick veil over his face, claiming it is at the behest of the Gods that he keep hidden. Personality [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] At first glance, just speaking to him and ignoring the circumstances one is likely to meet an insane fortune-teller in the woods, he would come across as glib but doddering. More immediately like a precocious grandfather whose finer details and sense of time have become lost with age. However, any further past that and he's clearly quite insane. Referring to things and people that don't possibly exist and muttering strange things that only grow more disquieting as you think about them. He does as his so-called 'Gods' demand of him, and sometimes that drives him to act violently - but not without an outburst of weeping apology that only makes the whole of it more disturbing to view. Erratic and uncertain, he is only barely holding onto the semblance of humanity he's left in himself before he becomes something else entirely. Arcana [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Major: The Fool
There's only so many ways one could begin to describe seeing everything at once and having to process it with but one mind. Driven from his rich life as an epicurean and thrown out to the hills, he can sometimes parse what he gets as useful knowledge and "advice" from the "Gods". He claims that the gods of this world are just barely-existent pantomime of things at the same time greater and far lesser than them, and this isn't terribly endearing to most people, so he's far removed from society - but not entirely. They say that, if you can survive the days-long trek to the cave in the woods where he resides, sometimes he will speak to you. And sometimes, he will say things that one man couldn't know on his own. His mind-breaking knowledge of everything can be used to drag up prophecy and impossible knowledge, and through this he has found...something to cling onto. He could have broken into far more pieces than he would have otherwise if he didn't live out a life as a minor prophet. To be frank about it, he gets to know things OOC that he has no IC business knowing. [SUP]_______________________________________________[/SUP] TALENTS: ◆ Courtier: The Scion of a noble family, Galahad is skilled and working his way through conversation- either through charming and schmoozing those of noble stature, or browbeating and intimidating those of lower standing. ◆ Mage Knight: While of noble birth, Galahad isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and is a full fledged knight of the Stormlands. Though trained in and capable of using a wide variety of armaments and armor, Galahad prefers to wield a polearm. ◆ Lutist: Hands never idle, Galahad has some experience with the arts, as expected of one of noble birth, and is fairly competent with music. EQUIPMENT: ◆ Galahad's Armor - Well crafted and balanced set of armor designed to be protective and mobile. Consists of a base layer of a long gambeson, with a mail shirt and cuirass. Plate pauldrons, vambraces and greaves protect the extremities, and a deep blue cloak bearing the Quaid family sigil wraps around the shoulders. ◆ Shortsword - An elvish shortsword of high quality. ◆ Quaid Sigil Clasp - An emerald clasp with the Quaid family sigil and a 'G' embedded within the gem in gold. [/CELL][CELL]Appearance [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Standing in at just over six feet tall, Galahad is a lithe and sinewy individual with the appearance of one who is used to continuous physical exertion, without some of the bulk of his fellow knights. As expected of an Knight of the Storm, his physique is in excellent shape, and his frame is akin to what might be expected of an athlete or career soldier. His skin is a light olive tone and is relatively unscathed. His dark black hair falls in graceful waves around his head, hiding the slight tips of his ears, and his eyes are a cold emerald green, possessing a piercing, almost chilling gaze. Galahad has an expensive taste in attire, often wearing fine silken clothes with bright and vibrant colors, and a borderline gaudy amount of jewelry. Personality [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Snarky and flippant, Galahad is a confident- often to the point of arrogance, and self assured individual. His casual and selfish demeanor is often mistaken for an uncaring and aloof disposition, and his lackadaisical nature and often haughty attitude does little to change the opinions of others. He has a penchant for sarcasm and rarely seems to take things seriously, throwing snide jokes or dashing charm around whenever he sees fit like a flip of a coin. Underneath his cool are careless persona lies a quiet, impotent rage, feelings of inadequacy, jealousy, cynicism and a constant need to prove himself. The weight of expectations placed upon on him by others weighs heavy on his mind. Galahad mingles well with those of genteel birth, and easily works his way through aristocrats and knights alike, though he has difficulty relating to those of poorer circumstances. His attitude does little to garner the sympathies of the common folk and he often seems disinterested or uncaring about the struggles of others. Not quite as vapid and self centered as he portrays himself- though still some measure of each- Galahad possesses a well developed moral compass, and is strongly loyal to those he cares about, though his tone and callousness might suggest otherwise. He cares about folk, in his own way, but one will never hear him admit such in open conversation. Arcana [SUB][SUP]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/SUP][/SUB] Major: The Strength Arcana
The third in his family line to have been blessed with the Strength Arcana, Galahad, while no master, is fairly proficient with his abilities, or at least well practiced with his current repertoire of abilities. Like most others of the Strength Arcana, he possesses the ability to fly and jump great distances with ease. While able to manipulate the gravity of others, when in conflict, Galahad is most proficient in manipulating his own. His lance moves lighter than a feather and hits harder than a warhorse, from above he can throw down his lance and leave craters in the ground from its impact. He can generate small singularities to suck in or restrain people or objects in a small localized area or increase the force of gravity on a man's sword so he cannot heft it properly. In general it takes less effort to manipulate his own than it does to manipulate something another person is actively controlling. As an added effect, as a result of the strength arcana, Galahad's musculature always seems to be in good shape, even without much effort.
Minor: The Seven of Swords
An ancient relic lance, handed down from from generations, the Seven of Swords was first obtained by Galahad Archemon Vitas Quaid, first of his name. Made from the metal of a meteorite, the weapon is heavy and difficult for the uninitiated to wield. When properly attuned to its user, the Seven of Swords can split itself into 7 smaller lances, one held in the hand, with the other 6 floating around the wielder's head. When the Lance in hand is thrown, the other 6 follow. After impacting, all seven lances reform into their original form.
