I have both of your unit sizes. The last game pitted a US Armor Battalion (M1 Abrams) v. an East German Panzer Battalion (T-80). This one is going to be very different. 

The first game was a [i][b]Probe[/b][/i] type mission or initial assault by Warsaw Pact forces against NATO units that were dug in. This next one states that the initial Warsaw Pact units created a breach somewhere along the line between East and West Germany. The Soviets are pushing a full division into this hole. NATO units have been scattered and 7th Army Commanders are pushing whatever units are available to plug the gap. This is a [i][b]Meeting Engagement[/b][/i]. The USSR unit is the Advance Guard for a Division and the US unit is a cobbled-together unit off remnant units. The US forces from CONUS have not yet arrived on the front line (REFORGER).

Just to give an indication of the size of the units coming at each other, the Soviet Commander is a Colonel, while the US Commander is a Major.
