Billy probably was the closest to being a friend to Sam.
handing over his clove smokes to the relentless boy, always reluctantly - almost annoyed, even. Why couldn't this kid just leave him to his brooding swing sets in peace. Till one day Billy plucks out his ear-buds and they share a playlist for the entire lunch hour, and he [i]smiles[/i]. It's a little bit endearing and it's a small-budded relationship, but Sam appreciated the effort none the less. Every so often their songs cycle through the speakers in Black Arrow.
