Cassia was born into a small family, her mother and father, her mother was a miner and her father was a baker, she also has a smaller brother who she usually always tries to take care of as best as she can. When she was around twelve years old there was a mining accident that resulted in her mother's death along with several other miners as well to. Her father wasn't the same ever again and he ended up becoming rather drunk and she would always be abused by her father, mainly because she reminds her of her mother. 

Cassia usually does her best to stay out of the house as much as possible usually going out hunting from time to time. Cassia usually will spend as much time as she can in the woods hunting, selling whatever she has caught over at the Hob and then gives the food to her younger brother who she takes care of a lot of the time.
