She'll more than likely earn the title of Emperor somewhere along the way of accomplishing this feat, and if she does, all the more power to her. Still, that's not the reason she wants this. The real reason Magdalena dreams of such a colossal bounty is so that it will serve as a statement that she just can't be touched!
[sub]Appearance Details:[/sub]
In the place of her right arm (shoulder included), Magdalena has a steel apparatus that takes the appearance of a crane of sorts, and ends in a total of four hooks, one of which is located on the underside and is inversed for better grip. Burn scars encircle the area where Magdalena's arm would've naturally sprouted from, indicating that this apparatus had likely been welded directly onto her at some time after it was made for her. This aforementioned area of flesh and sinew and the beginning of the steel apparatus itself are both wrapped in bandages, as is Magdalena's left forearm where she took an injury. Magdalena's right eye is also gone in its entirety. All that's left of it is the socket itself, and even fissures can occasionally be felt within that area of her skull, where chips would've broken off from impact and fractures would've formed. A black eyepatch that depicts an arrow having shot through a heart covers this for now. To complete her look, along with her regal black captain's jacket with a red velvet inside and golden trimmings, Magdalena has on a pair of armor greaves that reach halfway up to her calves, and would look to be more fitting on a knight than they would a pirate.

[sub]Personality:[/sub]
With her having always believed in the motto that "height makes right", it's only fitting that Magdalena gets to serve as the captain of the Sea Reaver Pirates. She always had a knack for bossing grunts around, and once she gives an order, she won't take no for an answer. Getting on Magdalena's bad side is a bad idea; she always seems to have an intimidating aura about her most of the time as it is, and she's at her utmost terrifying when she's pissed off. Only cruel punishment awaits those foolish enough to challenge her iron-fisted rule. Even though she has her preferred methods, primarily of which involve brute force, Magdalena does possess a tactical mind. She'll exploit weaknesses, work around solid defenses, bide her time if need be and wait for the most opportune moment for her to call the attack. And even if she realizes that charging into a fight isn't the solution to the problem at hand, she can always employ diplomatic measures or stealth tactics for the crew to take. However, once she's decided which path will most likely lead the Sea Reaver Pirates to victory in her mind, she'll see that path through to the very end even if it crumbles underneath them and makes them fall to their ruin. Magdalena will sacrifice any and every piece on the chess board to take the queen, and isn't always willing to take the necessary step back to reassess the situation at hand. Her stubbornness in this regard is somewhere between foolhardy and downright suicidal. The Honorstar Garrison Raid was a critical setback to the achievement of Magdalena's dream. It has evidently dealt a blow to her confidence as a pirate captain, and she no longer has any faith in her crew because of it. She has to wonder. Are the survivors really strong enough to protect Magdalena when she needs it most? Was she better off trying to do everything on her own this whole time? She doesn't know the answers to the questions she has. But she knows one thing; she never wants to see another Sea Reaver Pirate die again. She'll do her damnedest to prevent this, and if she has to take a crew member's place on the sacrificial altar, not only will she gladly do so, but she'll go on to take as many of the Sea Reaver Pirates' enemies down with her as she possibly can. All Magdalena would ask of the surviving crew members in return is that they live on, and strive to be better than her.
[sub]Biography:[/sub]
The Sea Reaver Pirates were first founded by Carrington Vail, who served as their original captain. Carrington was but a man with one goal; conquer all of the four Blues, starting with South Blue where his home town of Shelburgh lay. Even shortly after it was first founded, the Sea Reaver Pirate crew would prove to a great thorn on the Marines' side, and an ever-growing terror to citizens across the towns and villages of South Blue. However, one lone giantess of a woman would stand to be feared more than any of the other Sea Reaver Pirates, even among the Sea Reaver Pirates themselves. Her name? Magdalena Amarant. Magdalena joined the Sea Reaver Pirates at the tender age of 13, where she made her debut as an insane, power-hungry psychopath who would leave blood, bones and rubble in her wake. Carrington would've been more than happy to have Magdalena as an enforcer for the Sea Reaver Pirates, or even his right-hand lady. But Magdalena herself wanted more. She wanted to take over the role of captain, and had even grander plans than Carrington could ever come up with. After barely over 3 years of service, Magdalena challenged Carrington to a Davy Back Fight, where they would nominate the other Sea Reaver Pirates to ally with them until they had half the crew each. They won one game each, but then it would come down to the two of them battling it out until one of them was no longer able to fight. In the end, Magdalena triumphed over Carrington, and took the title of captain of the Sea Reaver Pirates as her prize. But that didn't stop Carrington from seeking revenge. One year prior to the Davy Back Fight, the Sea Reaver Pirates found a Devil Fruit known as the Ghost Ghost Fruit, in amongst what they could describe as a river of gold. Out of all the Sea Reaver Pirates that were there at that point in time, only Carrington and Magdalena knew anything about the ominous Devil Fruits, and neither of them wanted to mess with this particular fruit at the time. As such, the Ghost Ghost Fruit had spent that entire year locked inside a glass case within the Nightshade Scorpion's designated treasure room. However, when it came time for him to make his move, Carrington unlocked the glass case and used his cutlass to take a slice of the Ghost Ghost Fruit, before grinding it into a mortar and pestle and adding a portion of it to a shot glass. As he poured Magdalena's favorite brand of rum into that shot glass, however, Carrington saw that the Ghost Ghost Fruit had made the rum take on a milky, creamy color. Thankfully for him, he was able to find some leftover malt in a kitchen pantry, which he used to restore the spiked rum's original color. To complete his preparations, Carrington poured himself a glass, and invited Magdalena to the Nightshade Scorpion's front deck to watch the sun set over the South Blue. Although she was skeptical over what Carrington may have been plotting, Magdalena ultimately accepted the invitation. But before she realized something was wrong with the rum he'd given her, the ground slice of the Ghost Ghost Fruit had already been ingested. From there, all Carrington had to do, or so he thought, was tackle Magdalena and push her off the deck and, due to her newfound loss of ability to swim, he could usurp her and retake control of the Sea Reaver Pirates. What Carrington didn't know at the time was that, in truth, he also had to gamble that Magdalena wasn't able to use the Ghost Ghost Fruit to save herself. And that gamble that Carrington had to take backfired in the most spectacular way, with his body passing straight through Magdalena's, leaving him to fall into the ocean himself. Taking the time to laugh hysterically at the former captain's misfortune, Magdalena ordered the Sea Reaver Pirates to sail forth without Carrington, leaving him to his demise as punishment for his ultimate betrayal. Ironically, or perhaps even unironically, Magdalena had made the Sea Reaver Pirates an even more notorious name across the four Blues than Carrington ever had the chance to. Their bounties would climb by tens or hundreds of thousands of Beri at a time, with many individuals even bypassing the millions. There was no sign of them slowing down, not even for a second. However, that all changed when a cocky Magdalena initiated the Honorstar Garrison Raid. At first, it was going well enough; losses were well within what Magdalena had expected, and for the moment, the Sea Reaver Pirates looked to be winning that exchange. But then those dreaded Marine reinforcements arrived, and in a heartbeat, the counter-attack that they conducted had changed everything. Of course, many of the Sea Reaver Pirates feared for their lives, and tried to back out of the fight once the counter-attack had begun in order to save their own skins. But Magdalena, in complete denial of her losing position, lunged herself at the attacking marines, fighting as though she'd been possessed by a demon, and subconsciously using her Conqueror's Haki to force the pirates that were around her at the time to do the same. In the end, Magdalena had overtaxed the Ghost Ghost Fruit's ability to make her body ethereal; this in turn made it corporeal just in time for her to take a cannonball to the face, the impact being more than enough for her to fall into the sea. Despite everything that happened to her in that fateful battle, Magdalena came to and found herself in amongst the wreckage, only to find the body of water in front of the Honorstar Garrison littered with the corpses of her fallen crew members. She also noticed several Marines collecting up all of dead bodies, two of which were coming her way. Thankfully, she was able to activate the Ghost Ghost Fruit's second ability to distort their senses and back away from where she was when she activated it, so the Marines would have no idea that her "corpse" would mysteriously disappear on them before they could store it in the garrison's morgue. Magdalena had since vanished without a trace. No-one knows how many days will pass before the captain of the Sea Reaver Pirates plans to make a comeback and puts that plan to motion, but once she does, an ocean of blood and chilling screams will surely flow behind her once more.

Combat Information

[sub]Combat Role:[/sub]
Corsair
[sub]Devil Fruit Name:[/sub]
Ghost Ghost Fruit/Yurei Yurei no Mi
[sub]Devil Fruit Type:[/sub]
Paramecia
[sub]Devil Fruit Breakdown:[/sub]
The Ghost Ghost Fruit grants 2 abilities for Magdalena to use. The first ability is the ability to shift her body from corporeal to ethereal and vice versa at will. While her body is ethereal, Magdalena can phase through any wall, floor or ceiling of a building; on top of that, her ethereal body is largely unaffected by gravity, and any physical attacks and normal projectiles will pass straight through it without inflicting any harm to her. Magdalena cannot phase through natural earth under ordinary circumstances, however, and can only access areas that have already undergone subterranean excavation. Any and all physical constructs on Magdalena's possession, whether they be directly welded on her body or otherwise, will become ethereal or corporeal with her, and Magdalena can also infuse a single item or person with intangibility while her body is ethereal, allowing her to take them with her as she phases through walls, floors or ceilings. One last advantage of Magdalena's body being ethereal is that, due to gravity having no effect on it this way, she can levitate in the air for as long as it remains ethereal, or even move through it via utilizing swimming techniques, or other sources such as the wind. The second ability of the Ghost Ghost Fruit allows Magdalena to distort what exactly any number of people within a 50 meter radius of her see, hear or smell. Magdalena can distort all three of these senses at the same time with this ability, allowing her to evade even the most experienced of trackers if need be. She can also disguise herself and each crew member who accompanies her as an enemy's best friend, closest ally, superior officer or even an innocent bystander, depending on the situation at hand. Finally, Magdalena can always make herself or one of the surviving crew members appear elsewhere in the distorted enemy's mind entirely, encouraging that enemy to direct his or her attacks towards that "image" in the real thing's stead. It should be noted, however, that Magdalena cannot use the Ghost Ghost Fruit to distort one's sense of touch, and that if someone whose senses she'd distorted makes physical contact with her, everyone's senses will be normalized once more, with any and all distortions nullified in their entirety. Additionally, Observation Haki is unaffected by the Ghost Ghost Fruit's ability to distort one's senses, so practitioners who are highly proficient in Observation Haki can always ascertain the true locations and images of Magdalena and her crew no matter what she tries to do. There are other weaknesses and limitations the Ghost Ghost Fruit has, most notably in regards to its primary ability. If Magdalena's body ever comes in the slightest contact with seawater, it will instantly shift to being corporeal if it is ethereal at the time, before she then succumbs to the usual effects that seawater has on Devil Fruit users. Magdalena's body is usually at its most vulnerable while it's corporeal, but the most ironic exception to this is to the wind. A particularly powerful gust of wind, even one that Magdalena's body could theoretically withstand whilst corporeal (especially if she hunkers down), will blow it away completely if it's ethereal, due to it losing its sense of mass. Armament Haki can also always damage Magdalena's body regardless of whether it's corporeal or ethereal, as can weapons or projectiles laced with Seastone. The biggest limitation to the Ghost Ghost Fruit, however, is that Magdalena can't keep her body ethereal forever. It has a set time limit of several minutes before it automatically shifts back to being corporeal. Magdalena can recover one picosecond of this time limit for every picosecond she keeps her body corporeal in between transitions. However, channeling an infusion of intangibility will drastically lessen the time limit overall. Additionally, several seconds are subtracted from the time limit at a time for each instance in which Magdalena phases through an object or attack, and the closer the Ghost Ghost Fruit is to being fully exhausted of its ability to keep her body ethereal, the more pressure she'll feel upon attempting to phase through one thing in particular, and the more effort it'll take to actually phase through it. If Magdalena's body becomes corporeal on her before she's able to fully phase through a wall, ceiling or floor, any body part that fails to make it to the other side will cleanly and excruciatingly rip itself off from the rest of her body. This devastating experience is likely the true method in which Magdalena lost her right arm. Thankfully, having learnt a valuable lesson from it, Magdalena can now judge how close she is to losing her ability to keep her body ethereal, and stop trying to phase through things and let it transition to being corporeal at that time. This will cause her body to fuse with any object that she partially phased through, although if her physical strength allows for it, she can still move that object around at her leisure. Theoretically, Magdalena could use both of the Ghost Ghost Fruit's abilities at the same time, but there are some major caveats to this. First and foremost, making her body ethereal doesn't stop the distortions to everyone's senses from being nullified in the slightest, even though contact would never actually occur in that scenario. Additionally, maintaining the distortion to the senses takes a similar toll on the time limit in which Magdalena can keep her body ethereal as infusing something with intangibility and, on top of that, actually stops the recovery off that time limit when she's using it while her body is corporeal. The scenario of Magdalena doing battle with another user of the Ghost Ghost Fruit is a very peculiar scenario indeed. She both takes more damage from and can inflict more damage to that user if both of them have their bodies ethereal than if they were both corporeal, and if one keeps their body ethereal with the other keeps it corporeal, neither will be able to hurt the other with their standard attacks. Combat between Magdalena and any other Ghost Ghost Fruit users will most likely come down to strength, stamina, experience, prowess in Armament Haki, timing in transitions between ethereal and corporeal, perhaps the tiniest amount of luck or even any combination of all six of those qualities if the former wants to come out on top.
[sub]Haki Prowess:[/sub]
Observation: D Armament: B Conqueror's: A
[sub]Physical Capabilities:[/sub]
As far as physical strength is concerned, Magdalena can easily contend with, and even surpasses, the average man. She can lift (and throw!) 216kg (476lbs) worth of objects without the slightest amount of strain on her body, and there needs to be at least 473kg (1043lbs) weighing down on her before her muscles will ultimately fail her. Magdalena also sports a very powerful kick, with the ability to send a grown human man soaring into the air before landing up 9m (30ft) away, depending on their weight. However, Magdalena's agility and acrobatic feats are easily the most transcendent of her physical capabilities. She can dodge bullets unless they were shot at point blank range or fired from exceptionally powerful rifles, and even if an enemy tries to attack from behind, she can react in time to block that attack, without necessarily turning to face said enemy. She's also very quick on the draw, able to both unholster her revolver and fire all 7 shots from it within the space of 2 seconds, as well as reload all 7 chambers in around 4 seconds. Magdalena can also hang onto a railing or the like just as easily with her legs as she can with her hands, and can resist the symptoms that blood rushing to her head would cause, affording her the ability to hang completely upside-down for up to hours on end.
[sub]Fighting Style:[/sub]
Like the typical corsair, Magdalena primarily uses her revolver to do combat, and tends to prioritize on being quick on the draw and shooting rapidly as opposed to lining up her shots for accuracy. However, unlike the typical corsair, who would do everything they could to stay as far away from their enemies as possible, Magdalena doesn't mind the occasional melee engagement, and has the tools to conduct such engagements; namely the crane-like construct that takes the place of her right arm. This is something she uses an awful lot during combat, more so than the revolver itself. Shooting a guy down just isn't as fun for Magdalena as wrapping the construct's hooks under his chin and ripping his head clean off, even if it is the ultimately more efficient method of killing him. She's also not afraid to use an enemy as a human shield, especially not if its the captain or first mate of an enemy pirate crew, or a high-ranking Marine. She can then take them as a hostage instead, in order to stop the fighting and force negotiations to happen if need be. Not having a second hand to aid in stabilizing her revolver as she fires does take its toll on her maximum potential for accuracy a little bit, but Magdalena can always use the Ghost Ghost Fruit's second ability to lure her enemies straight into the path of the fired bullet as she shoots it. This utilization the Ghost Ghost Fruit is often times just reliable enough that Magdalena doesn't always have to try and use the iron sights on her revolver... or even look in the direction that she's shooting at. Sometimes Magdalena will just fire in 7 completely random directions and "somehow" manage to get a lucky kill shot on a guy or two. That's how much trust she has that her Ghost Ghost Fruit will pick up the slack, and make up for what in truth is less than stellar aim on her part.
[sub]Equipment:[/sub]
Nagant .22 Caliber 7-Shot Revolver: Magdalena's bread and butter weapon of choice. The bullets it shoots aren't of a particular high caliber, but the fact that it can hold 7 bullets as opposed to a normal revolver's 6 is an advantage worth the sacrifice in power. The Nagant .22 Caliber 7-Shot Revolver has a gate on the left side for right-handed variants and vice versa, for loading fresh bullets into its chamber. The chamber can be manually revolved while the hammer is un-cocked, which does help speed up the reloading process since the bullets have to be loaded in one at a time, but the chamber needs to be precisely realigned before the hammer can successfully be cocked again. Magdalena carries a pouch of bullets inside her captain's jacket that she tries to keep topped up with at least 175 bullets. Four-Hooked Crane Arm: The crane-like apparatus that takes the place of Magdalena's right arm doesn't just serve as a psychologically intimidating weapon; it's also an efficient tool that she's relied on time and again, whether she used it to stop herself from falling overboard, or even simply reposition on the fly. The quartet of hooks on the other end are linked to the main structure of the apparatus itself via thin chains that can each reach up to 2000m (6562ft) in length when unspooled from within said structure. These chains are made of Seastone to negate a potential compromise in durability, but kept impure so Magdalena doesn't lose movement in her fingers as soon as she touches them (which would defeat the purpose of an emergency repairing of kinks or snags). There is a catch installed inside the main structure of the apparatus in order keep the chains (and therefore the hooks) in place when not in use. This catch is operated via mercury switch, and disengages as soon as the apparatus is raised to full height. From there, Magdalena can launch all four hooks towards a target at once via "casting" the apparatus, much like how one casts a fishing rod, and once they latch on, she can reel herself towards that target... or it towards her! The winch that allows for this is exceptionally powerful; assuming Magdalena has solid anchoring, it can allow her to singlehandedly pull entire marine or enemy pirate ships within boarding range regardless of their size, or even rip apart chunks of a building, or a self-propelled ship that is unsuccessful in its attempt to overpower the winch. The winch can be activated by the turning of a circular gear high up the main structure of apparatus, in amongst the area where it was welded onto Magdalena herself. This gear is primarily at the location it's at for ease of access and, although this can be capitalized on for foes just as easily as it can for allies, Magdalena can always turn her whole body ethereal with the Ghost Ghost Fruit to counteract their attempts. There are a couple of flaws in the apparatus' design. First, because of the way the mercury switch that triggers the catch works, Magdalena has to keep the entire apparatus elevated while the hooks are extended; otherwise the catch will re-engage on its own, causing it to take damage from the chains scraping against it when the winch is active. The second is its limitations in movement; Magdalena can only move the apparatus in one direction at a time, whether it be up, down, left, right, backward or forward, and the movements themselves tend to be jerky in comparison to the natural flow of a real arm. Knightly Greaves: Of course, sometimes the best thing one can do to fend off an attacker is to give him or her a quick, powerful kick to the face. Enter the greaves that Magdalena wears on a daily basis. These greaves serve her well enough on the battlefield and provide a myriad of useful advantages. These can range from disarming a bladed or pointed weapon without it inflicting damage to her feet, to inflicting more damage onto an enemy that breaks her fall, to pinning an enemy down or tripping them up in order to buy the time she needs to reload, to even teaching the more perverted members of her crew a lesson in respecting a woman's sense of modesty.

Miscellaneous Information

[sub]Main Theme Song:[/sub]
And So It Went, by The Pretty Reckless
[sub]Battle Theme Song:[/sub]
Metal: Hellsinger OST: Stygia, as remixed by LittleVMills
[sub]Ideal Voice Actresses:[/sub]
Sarah Anne Williams (En)/Mariya Ise (Jp)
[sub]Relationship Info:[/sub]
To be revealed in due time
