Stephen is a nice person outwardly, but cold inside, acting normally so that he can live in the city and not be disliked, an especially important factor due to where he lives. His daughter, only 7 years old and unfamiliar with his dangerous profession, died to a rabid Beastman Stephen was hunting when he was twenty-five, and since then he has hated them regardless of the time passed. His guard is never fully down, his cautious side covering for his fake, amiable personality. He does his best not to show the more despairing side of his personality and because of that, sometimes gives too much for a task. He can understand most things, but does not feel the need to explain himself. If you want information from him, you WILL have to earn it. His living in Goetia also calls forth a deep suspicion of merchants and those who sell things. Dead people and things do not scare him or hurt him, as stories of demons and heroes are always violent and frequently mention hell and the existence of ghosts, except for young girls that remind him of who he lost, which even to him is an admittedly selfish trait. Even still, This broken man is dead inside himself, so what is there to fear of others like him?

Stephen's magic comes in the form of a aura that empowers the magic user as well as magic within it, and also various spells he can use to heal or move quickly including flight and extra speed. By sacrificing more of his power, he can extend the aura and it's abilities, and his earring, which carries 15 years of excess magic, can be shattered to release a pulse of maximally powerful Temperance magic. A ability he likes to use is Magic Body, which unlike the name, is a technique that only protects as much as his Coat, Magi, covers. When affected by Stephen's magic, the Coat becomes as hard as steel at the expense of his movement.
