[b]Personality[/b]: Quite literally, a dueling machine. From the outside, she would seem like a quiet, but competitive girl. A model student incapable of missing a lesson, whose theory and trivia knowledge are second to none. 

She will never refuse a challenge, no matter the circumstances. And yet, she will often simply concede a game just when it’s getting interesting. An individual game means nothing, but is simply a stepping stone to becoming a better player. It is not winning, but simply playing that is important to her. In that sense, can she be considered competitive at all?

While her technical knowledge is great, she’s lacking somewhat in heart. The trust in her cards, the attachment to them as allies who have seen her through various battles - without these things, can she truly be considered a real duelist?

[b]History[/b]: In any game of logic, technology will eventually exceed even the strongest players. It has been seen in chess, with the creation of Deep Blue, capable of defeating even the strongest player in the world, and chess computers only progressing from there. Developing Dueling technology to this point is a goal of Kaiba Corp. Not simply for the sake of progressing towards the future, but for the sake of improving the human players, too. The stronger the opponent one can train against, the stronger one becomes. 

KC ADI-MK I is the first of her type, a dueling AI contained within a humanoid body and possessed of an adaptive intelligence. Not simply manually programmed to respond to each card in a certain way, but genuinely able to learn and develop strategies and counter strategies, becoming more intelligent the more she plays. A marvel of technology, being used for the purpose of playing card games.

She has been enrolled in Central Academy for dual purposes. Her primary goal is to learn, to adapt, and become as strong a duelist as she possibly can. Her secondary goal is to blend in with the students of the academy, to appear as human as possible. It seems, to her, a far more difficult task.
