This works forever but can only bring him so'. The 'crude' starting crossbow being unbreakable is new. I'll just say, not everything functions just like it does in various games that might not have durability systems; it makes more sense that only unbreakable weapons in games that do have durability, like the Master Sword in BOTW, would be really unbreakable.
