[b]Personality:[/b] The first thing most people notice about Nkiruka is his cheerfulness and optimism - not much gets him down, to a somewhat ridiculous extent. As he says, 'we determine how we feel about things'. If he thinks he has a chance, he will happily ramble about any given topic and takes a while to notice he might be annoying those around him. That seems to put a dent in his cheer. The only topic he tends to avoid is that of where he came from, his family, and even at times his pokemon team.

For the most part, Nkiruka tries to avoid conflict. He'd rather compromise than argue, and when it comes to battle, he'd rather forfeit than fight. This can make him come across as quite spineless, an impression he struggles to fix. It doesn't help that he's slow to anger - though hurting a pokemon for no good reason, that'll do it. Take good care of your pokemon in his presence.


[b]Biography:[/b] Nkiruka grew up in the Hoenn region, in what most folks would consider a standard family - two parents, and a sister older by two years. His older sister was quite competitive, a fact Nkiruka often had to work around when discussing his plans for the future. Dreaming of being a pokemon champion was not meant for him. However, after the siblings each got their own pokemon, his sister left and he spent time bonding with his new pokemon. Their bond reawakened old dreams of fame and fortune and when they set out, Nkiruka had dreams of beating the Pokemon League. 

It was over a year later that he ran into his sister, who at that point had assembled a psychic-oriented team, as if to directly spite Nkiruka. He didn't rise to such bait. Instead, he foolishly showed her the progress he'd made and announced his own dream: to not have to worry what anyone thought of him, not even her. Later, he'd remind himself he should've known better. She decided she was going to teach him a lesson, if he was so insistent on 'being in the way like usual'. The exact details, Nkiruka is hesitant to relate. All that really mattered anyways was that he dropped out of competing for the Pokemon League the next day. Within the next week, he'd dropped out of the Hoenn region entirely, getting a boat ticket out of the region before searching for a region without a Pokemon League.

He currently resides in Umbriel City, eking out a living via caring for and looking after all types of pokemon. It's not much of a living, but it lets him get by. Still, if he doesn't figure out something new soon, well, he's an optimist. That doesn't mean he's that big an idiot.
